The worker class would, all at once, break their chains. Just takes the right primer, the right base building built. Do enough mutual aid, build the right networks, show people the alternative and then, when the next chance at spontaneous action happens? It will be bright, flaming and burning hot with revolution. This has been my line of thought since those days on the streets of protest in the Summer of 2020. It is no longer my opinion. No longer the line I hold. It is utopianism.

What will bring about revolution will be small networks, numbering no more than 25 people per node, moving militantly with the purpose of revolution. It will be the singular revolutionary finding 2 to 5 people who align ideologically. It will be the pursuit of power that wins the class war. Lenin called it a Vanguard. So be it. Anyone who is legitimately moving within this world as if they are really a revolutionary, I mean a revolutionary suicide revolutionary, I mean a revolutionary who will not live to see the fruits of his or her labors, who is willing to die for the cause. Give me a dozen small groups of these people moving each day with the strictest, most principled determination to achieve revolution and we will win.

Did the serf really understand the civics behind monarchy? Did the average Russian peasant know the roots of the Bolsheviks? No. Did Mao go to the masses with the intention of educating them towards communism? No. He came to organize an army, with the promise that the life the communists could give the masses was far and beyond the life they lived now. That was enough. The French in Algeria did not give up power without violence; could you imagine thinking that those same French could be convinced of revolution given just a few more pamphlets, a few more zines, a few more YouTube videos? It is a farce. It is pointless debate.

If I am one person, with one life, with a limited amount of labor, resources and time to give to the cause, then it doesn’t benefit me nor the cause to take a 10-year federal penitentiary chance on doing actions that only seek to moralize the class war, that only seek to sway hearts and minds. No. It is with militant action. It is with uncompromisingly standing for what you believe in. Yes, mutual aid has a purpose, but that cannot be the ends, only the means. To be a revolutionary in the age of the surveillance state, of neoliberal “everyone can be their own business owner,” in the age of hyper-alienation, is to be a martyr. So be it. There are countless, faceless men and women who have no problem standing with the courage needed to rebuke the anti-life regime. 7 people in a room with a seriousness can discuss things that no one thought possible. Multiply that by 700 and you see the potential. Beyond the affinity group, beyond the vanguard, what must be created are hundreds of revolutionary cells, the amoebas that can eat the ‘brain’ of capital, one strike, one direct action, one stand on principle at a time. It only takes one group to achieve the successful combination of factors that allow revolutionary victory, and all of the other groups will be positioned to gain from this victory. The mere presence of a vocal, ideologically principled anarcho-communist can be a butterfly effect. Be the butterfly, organize. It is no longer enough to play defense against the old world, hoping to create something within its shell. We must wage uncompromising class war by any means necessary.

I am willing to fall on my sword for revolution. My death will be but one spark in the flames of liberation; that is the highest honor allotted to man.
