The Soviet Union opened its very first large toilet paper factory in… 1969
And toilet paper remained in deficit for the whole Soviet period, right until the end.
People would buy Pravda and Komsomol newspapers exclusively to use as toilet paper.
In 1981, a Soviet plane crashed and killed 16 Admirals and Generals because it was overloaded with hoarded toilet paper lol.

There’s literally no reason to use paper, just hop in the shower and eat enough fiber that you don’t smear

America had multiple "legal highs" later outlawed or labelled as controversial, widely prescribed for the illness of living in America.

Stalin wiped with them all

It degenerated

>le toilet paper
You can wash yourself moron, water is also a way better cleaner

>>2638833
You need both for a full clean experience unless you want to have to take a shower after every shit.

>>2638865
Shit once a day, it’s easy if you don’t binge coffee like a degenerate

mod send this uyghur to the bottom of hell RIGHT NOW

>>2638865
Or just use a bidet.

>>2638894
Again just washing it isnt going to make it clean try it yourself if you want wash your ass then wipe it with toilet paper there will be brown on the paper.

uygha they had just got done waging a war that basically destroyed the entire industrialized part of the country. They can't wish for things out of thin air, and in the later years they had to specifically focus on military rather than consumer goods because they were constantly at odds with the US and Nato.

>>2638894
Would a bidet solve me shitting blood all the time?

>>2638765
Play workers and resources: Soviet republic

>The Soviet Union opened its very first large toilet paper factory in… 1969
No, that's a lie based on technicality. TP was in production since the Stalin times, it was just mostly sheet paper which was also the most common type of paper in the west for a long while. Obviously production suffered a lot in 1941.
>People would buy Pravda and Komsomol newspapers exclusively to use as toilet paper.
uyghur you think TP made in the first half of the 20th century was any better than newspapers? That stuff had splinters and shit in it. Also soviet newspapers were free.
>In 1981, a Soviet plane crashed and killed 16 Admirals and Generals because it was overloaded with hoarded toilet paper lol.
Never heard about it but sounds like a retarded myth.

>>2638942
>sheet paper
Imagine the plumbing issues

>>2638765
>Why was the USSR such a shithole
Maybe your demonic US govt and all the mindless halfwit ghouls that constitute Amerikkkan citizens had something to do with it? How do Amerikkkan mouthbreathers find this site?

Toilet paper is a bourgeois treat

>>2638973
Cool it with the barracks communism

>>2638925
You are such a dumbass. I stopped using toilet paper because it's inefficient. Instead after shitting, I hop my ass onto the sink and then use the faucet as a bidet while washing the ass with soap. It's not that hard and my towels don't have brown streaks.

>>2638942
Yeah it's another semi-myth pushed by retards and accepted by other retards who WANT TO BELIEVE that communism is evil so they can feel good about themselves. The funniest thing about this story is that soviet newspapers were both cheap and softer than the brown sandpaper my grandparents still prefer to use today for some reason that was the available toilet paper before 1969, and even then, the government had to run a campaign to promote the new white toilet paper because people chose to stick with newspapers as they were used to them. There is a very acute irony how everyone used pravda to wipe their asses, even the most patriotic of communists. I guess it's similar to americans wearing star spangled underwear. As to the story about le dead admirals, I first heard it from the anticommunist youtuber Paper Skies and in that story it was not toilet paper that brought down the plane, but a shit ton of sausage and furniture. I don't know if it's true but it's very fashionable to make things up about the SU because the west needs cope.

>>2638865
>unless you want to have to take a shower after every shit.
yeah, a shit then a shower per day is quite reasonable, i think

>>2638981
You should use both dumbass have some reading comprehension.

90% of you people are utterly worthless and should kill yourselves. You know nothing about the state you fete. Worse, you can't even do 2 seconds googling.
I don't know anything about the Soviet toilet paper situation, but OP is suspect because the 1981 plane crash in question is cited as caused by rolls of printing paper, not toilet paper. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1981_Pushkin_Tu-104_crash

Even https://www.coffeeordie.com/article/soviet-navy-sausage-crash (early non-wiki result) gives the cause as
>…the officers headed back to Pushkin Airfield on Feb. 7, 1981, with hundreds of pounds of sausage, cheese, and other goods. Also, the commanding admiral brought massive rolls of paper for a unit newspaper as well as entire furniture sets.

>>2638765
If you really were just posting anticommunist bait, OP, congratulations: no toilet paper situation in the USSR could be as humiliating for world socialism as the posts of its adherents on leftypol.org.

>>2638932
this excuse is fine in 1950, maybe even in 1959, but it's embarrassing in 1969.
Japan was burned to the ground and they didn't have this problem in '59 let alone '69. Even if you say: ah, well Japan is cheating because they got preferential access to the US market, I would be surprised to learn that (say) East Germany had this problem.

>>2638942
>>2638989
At long last, people who vaguely know what they're talking about.
Good job, comrades. Don't kill yourselves. Feel free to kill anyone else ITT tho

Posting in a bullshit thread. Anyway. I think a socialist society should actually put information on rolls of toilet paper. Maybe not Fidel's speeches, but factoids and vocabulary stuff.

>>2638942
>you think TP made in the first half of the 20th century was any better than newspapers? That stuff had splinters and shit in it. Also soviet newspapers were free.
This.

>>2639014
And this.

This thread should be archived and shown to victorious revolutionaries getting a bit teary-eyed in modern art museums as they contemplate the intellectual struggle of the working masses during the old period of the Dictatorship of the Bourgeoisie.

>The Soviet Union opened its very first large toilet paper factory in… 1969
Nice.

>>2639048
I believe Venezuela under Chavez actually printed pieces of the constitution on goods that went to the small grocery stores for the poor

that's why we support TPUSA here
