Anyone noticed how when it's election time in the US advocating to vote third party is dismissed on the basis of them not having enough traction but inbetween elections (like now) nobody is working to build popularity for third parties for election season? What's up with that? The Republicans are deranged MAGAts and the Democrats are utter useless pussies and EVEN NOW you can't work to build traction for a third party? So you guys are just waiting to cynically vote for the Democrats in two years? Or perhaps you will abstain from voting altogether because of whatever impotent principle you cling to.
Honestly, what the fuck are Amerifats even doing?
Nothing. We're mostly either treatlerites or impotent cucks. In fact I think most people are that way it's just that we're the center of the imperial core so we care less about changing things because we get more positives than negatives from the situation.
>election comes
>voote bloo to defeat fascism
scenario 1:
>republicans win
>spend the rest of the term feeling paralysed by the threat of fascism
scenario 2:
>democrats win
>fascism is destroyed, mission success, objective completed, no need to do anything
repeat
We dont need 3# USA threads. Keep this local drama inside general.
Because for people who know the ins-and-outs of the american election system, it's pretty clear that the two-party system is hardwired in.
You see, the president is determined by the vote of the electors in the electoral college, and those votes are "pledged". When John Doe or Joe Blow vote for the Republican or Democrat party, they're actually voting for the electors of that party to represent the state at the electoral level. It's not a vote for president, it's a vote for electors.
The other parties don't have electors, there's really no plan or precedent for "what if a third party won the majority of votes", the presumption is if such a thing *did* happen, we'd scramble to find electors to represent the party so that they could vote at the electoral level. But in reality, that wouldn't happen, no third party would sweep the country. What you'd see instead is them claiming one state, and then nothing would change, because even if they had electors for that state, they wouldn't have enough votes.
To give another party a chance to win, you'd have to reform the electoral college, which would require that you get senators and representatives belonging to another party so they could push through reforms to the system. It's kinda an ouroboros situation.
>>2652032this makes as much sense as
>the burgers genetically can't have a third party win>it's written into our genes, sorrycope and lame excuses while portraying yourself the victim
third parteis have no chance because the system had made it impossible for them to prosper, the only way a third party might win is by being funded by a billionaire.
Anyways, i dont vote at all
no i didn't notice because i'm not american
now get the fuck back to your containment thread
>>2652012French and greek people called, they want to smack some sense into your bitch ass
