>>2668487It is hard to tell. Putin has been very pro-Soviet when it comes to writing textbooks, he created a generation of Soviet patriots in the youth. On the other hand, United Russia has a handful of reactionaries like Medvedev and Poklonskaya (the latter being kicked out recently)
If some reactionary takes power after Putin and starts outright attacking Soviet legacy (not like Putin who switches between praise and attacks), it could get interesting.
Additionally, there is a rise of nationalism, since Putin's immigration politics is horrible. The youth is national bolsheviks, that would be a true statement.
Hopefully his successor is a Soviet patriot who will tackle immigration issues. Someone like Lavrov perhaps? Unlikely though. He is a foreign minister.
