I have awakened.
Also I really hope Trump wins the midterms so he can keep accelerating western decline. That is my wish.
I got a job
>>2671479Similar but for me it was when I realized that conservative politics is retarded and pointless and that the left wing retards I made fun of as a kid were actually right about almost everything
Bc I only recently turned 18 and my friends are all turning left wing because we have to go debt and get a job and work 8 hours and it's all mandated by gobierno for some fucking reason
And that I have to move out and there's laws defending owners and all that bs and strikes aren't really allowed bc it'll "hurt" us and trade unions arent strong enough
Fucking bullshit and I have to put with workplace bullying later, credit cards are so fucking evil, I can't believe I fell for rightoid bait as a child
It is really easy to hate transgender Maoists though i saw a 14 year autistic transgender maoist and he became a christian next year I haven't really warmed up to trans people yet
>>2671474you are the biggest larper of all, mass tor baiter.
you are more middle class than anyone, mass tor baiter
hearing about my grandfather's korean war stories made me realize the US was the bad guy. learning about vietnam later solidified that. Seeing Abu Ghraib happen when I was 13 made me hate my own country. Anti-capitalism came later with OWS and having my first job at the same time. I noticed for a lot of younger people it's the opposite, they get a job and hate capitalism before they realize what the US gov is up to.
I got "radicalized" by un-liberalizing myself and reading like 10k pages of texts from fugen L E N I N, you socdem bitch
>>2672292seeing all the anons whose entire praxis is posting about how much better they are than everyone else on leftypol made me
vomit >>2671821they realize, hard not to, simply they dont care.
Working for shitty small business owners
>>2671469saw how my post-soviet state is doing and got radicalized
>>2672382in the circles I run in they more accurately refuse to know or learn. Like a significant amount of liberals today don't actually oppose much of what Trump does, if a democrat does it they are fine with that when given the proper narrative and symbolic gestures that allows them to rationalize. It's difficult to get them to accept what it may actually take to build an alternative to things when they really do want the old status quo still. educated phds and PMC types will shut off and refuse to understand imperialism and how it can't be separated from capitalism, because if they oppose imperialism totally they'd have to accept that there's no going back to the obama years and maybe even a hair cut for their life style necessary to save and protect the vulnerable populations they claim to care about. but if they don't oppose imperialism then one way or another our society ends up right where it is now or worse no matter what they do. some of them are weak in a way, to look at the problem as something that we aren't going to fix in the next election by electing a "good" person who is just a corporate democrat takes fortitude that some people lack.
Unironically following GamerGate out of curiousity when it happened back in the Fall of 2014, the group that migrated to 8chan, I followed them. And one of GG boards discovered one of Zoe Quinn's SuicideGirls photoshoot, with her posing nude with Antonio Gramsci's book "Prison Notebooks" and out of curiousity I read the book, and afterwards made my way to /leftypol/ on 8chan to ask questions and that was it.
Never seen someone use the term "radical" and not be a massive idiot, especially as a self-identifier.
I had to build a PC (it's been a long time) and the prices of things were outrageous. Even worse, importing pieces from anywhere with more reasonable prices would scarcely be a discount due to import taxes. Back then crypto was booming and hoarding all the electronics, much to the complicit profiteering of the sellers. So I was drawn to explanations other than "da j00s", "da chinks" and "suck it up loser (fav and subscribe and join my Patreon)".
I never had much respect for property though. Partly because of neetdom failing to impart the lessons of economic survival. But also because I've always had the internet since very young, long before smartphones I had dialup. Sharing and "piracy" felt quite natural. Also also, my parent's were… well not rich, but rich-er than the dogshit neighborhood we moved into for reasons, so having stuff and sharing it was always a good method to grease social relationships.
I remain an uneducated NEET, but angrier and slightly more focused on what about. Since then, quite a lot has happened that reinforces those beliefs and then the whole cold war too. Man, all that time and I still managed to do nothing with it, huh? OH well.
>>2673104>getting """radicalized""" over the price of consumer goods>neet manchild in affluent familyholy shit LMFAO this is even funnier than op
>>2673074I was an eco-fascist, my bet was on barbarie and darwinism.
The dialectics brought me to machiavelism and something along the lines of selective compassion.
i help others so they can live to fight the next day.
