Instead of being utterly banal and meaningless in the grand scheme of things. And because your enemies are ontologically evil and you're serving a righteous cause everything you do is justified too. Black pilled take but; there's no fixing this. It's innate to much of the "Left" (and the "Right"). Any group promising "revolution" or warning of imminent apocalypse.
There were elements of this already during the French Revolution. Same with the Bolsheviks. Same with various "communist" micro parties today (ACP, Bob Avakianites, etc). It's a bunch of psychological cope. But instead of going to church it's forced into various (secular) movements.
And whenever anyone does seemingly succeed and nothing fundamentally changes there's more cope by arguing it wasn't the real thing, false prophets, "they didn't follow the scriptures!1!!".

There's never gonna be a revolution (eschaton) ending all conflict, suffering, classes and rule out any of it re-emerging after. No end of history. And no avoiding people getting sucked into these cults as long as they don't understand why they're drawn to them.

Communism is the logical conclusion of the human desire to elimate work. In any case, from a purely numerical perspective we cannot afford to alienate everyone who isn't an ardent materialist atheist redditor, but that doesn't mean we have to endorse religions either.
The key is to be nuanced and use judgement when presenting these things.
If you spend all day waving your fedora in the face of a retail worker or manual labourer, maybe you can walk away feeling intellectually superior (your position is in fact more correct of course) but in real terms you have achieved nothing but stroking your own ego and further alienating the masses from Marxism.
