Yeah work sucks, but you need money. Therein lies the rub. Best you can do is find better employment. Thankfully I had the good fortune of never doing food service or retail or customer service or anything like that. I guess most I did was sales but I never had to deal with any problematic customers. An ever present throughline is abusive bosses. I hate that shit. Most of them will literally try to humiliate you in front of people.

>>2686815
one time I had a boss grill me for 10 minutes for a tiny mistake and he was being very retarded and annoying. he kept saying "why did you do this?" and I kept saying "Because I was tired and distracted" I forgot what it even was because it was like 10 years ago. But point is I eventually said "look bro, this conversation is a waste of time. can I please just go back to work so I can make this place some revenue?" and he actually left me alone after that lol. I think it disarmed him. I made him realize he was wasting more money grilling me over a tiny mistake than the mistake cost itself.

I'm a migrant worker housed by the company with 4 other zoomies and 1 fellow millenitard. Our typical breakfast scene is the 4 zoomies scrolling TikTok at the same time, filling the kitchen with absolute cacophony while us old farts look at eachother with visible disgust. At work they are disastrous, self-centered, fast but inefficient, ultimately doing more harm to the overall productivity by them focusing on being the best Marvel hero in their head canon.

One of them is so ADHD'd it took me 4 entire days to teach him a rather simple and monotone job my old fart generation simply gets in 2 hours, start going alone, asks some questions if they forget something or are unsure (completely fine), and they are 90% autonomous the second day.

And I'm not trying to old fart flex here, I could have let that little fucker rot after 2 hours, letting him wonder around like a confised idiot, ultimately to be fired by the manager in a week. But they simply don't get why I would help them, even if I explain it to them that I'm a very worker-centered communist.

My solidarity to them is at best suspicious (how do you profit from this secretly?) or – get this – gay, at worse.

For comparison I could talk about unionizing to a fellow millenioid fart and he'd immediately get the risks and potential benefits. To zoomies I'm like that gay dude who does this gay shit for some gay reasons, don't care, gotta watch TikTok, scroll scroll.

What the fuck, man.

I know I know, polcomp pig disgusting and all that

you know maybe just maybe. Social media filled with algorithims that emphasize low value and short term reaction content is a bad thing.

amerikkka will not have anything resembling an organized revolution. instead everyone will just gradually get less productive and more lazy. they won't do this through an organized slowdown or a general strike. it will just be simultaneous malaise. capitalism will come crumbling down in the imperial core and everyone will be confused about how it happened. It will seem like a miracle to MLs who were waiting for the emergence of some kind of armed proletarian uprising in the core. No. everyone will just simultaneously decide to be the main character from office space. Not bait but haters will hate. Replies muted.

>>2686805
Yes, a bourgeois revolutionary situation. Yes, proletarian, great depression (got counter-treatlered ASAP) like in the rest of the imperial core out of fear of the soviets and legit proletarian organizations.

It's not that there's an anti-revolutionary gene in burgers. That's nonsense and a caricature people like to project on us. It's that literally now is not the time. The treat pool is drying up, btw. Not just the RoP, but also if you want to remain competitive, you simply must de-treatlerize, and too much automation is not an option anymore. Meanwhile, China is unstoppable, defying this very capitalist logic.

>>2686808
Hurry, press the revolution button. The people who are telling you that's not how history works are wreckers! Also, lol at this pure display of idealism and calling your opponent Christian.

Get a new tattoo, this time of a lightning, that will make sure you do revolution even faster!!

>>2686831
How do you eat.

>>2686808
This isn't the 19th century anymore kiddo, the only "revolution" a developed industrial imperial core nation state will make is one towards national socialism and consequently even more genocide directed at the imperial periphery for the sake of extended social programs at home

>>268680
Unless its unseasoned millet hes a treatler to me

>>2686838
America throws out half its food before it even reaches the consumer. Then consumers throw out half their food. Americans eat only 25% and throw out the rest, and are still fat. food production is not the problem here.

>>2686843
>genocide directed at the imperial periphery for the sake of extended social programs at home
americans cut social programs while increasing military spending though

>>2686783
>Gen Z job candidates and their mothers come to the interview with them and want to sit in the room and answer questions for them
Did zoomies give up on self-representation as the next step in atomization? With Adorno the diagnosis in the 50s was that atomized people aren't able to connect in themselves the faculties of thought into a coherent whole, but the elements were still there.

It's almost as if the very notion of the self was disappearing, but not in the "based" sense of reinvention-through-depersonalization or submitting yourself to a cause without self-regard, but in the "self isn't a substance" (in the philosophical meaning of the word), "it's merely a mediation of a mediation, an algorithm of an algorith, a bittomless pit" sense.

>>2686851
Would you look at that, the western leftist is also so retarded he doesn't understand how the Military Industrial Complex which he benefits from works! How precious and adorable

>>2686861
americans cut social programs while increasing military spending though

>>2686856
the work self is inherently disconnected from the real self. when I am at work? no one calls me Houdini, no one knows about my interests, my hobbies, how I spend my time, what I care about. To get this job I had to do a personality test, 100 questions. Of course I didn't answer truthfully, I created a persona who answered in the spirit of what the company wanted to hear. When I'm at work, I try to intentionally disassociate as much as possible while I'm there. Let the body go into autopilot. Depersonalize the experience to make it go by faster.

The job does not pay enough to pay even a quarter of my rent. There are no shift meals, no employee discounts, no breaks, and the shifts are 3, maybe 4 hours max. The job serves no purpose for me aside from the societal obligation to have one. Working here I cannot afford to eat here, despite it being some of the most bog-standard burger slop. Are you really going to spend a 3rd of your shift's wage on that burger slop?

And of course it's only a matter of time before the company downsizes. Being sent home because "there's too much labor here" reminds you what you are. Labor. Reminds you what they are. Exploiters.

Is it any wonder that gen z has all but given up? I'm in the older era of gen z, and I know it's far worse if you're in the young group. Just thankful I didn't turn 18 during covid, couldn't imagine how much harder things would have been to be kicked out and made into a "real man" during the global pandemic. Which of course still lingers as a mass trauma event we're all gaslighting ourselves into thinking never happened and didn't matter.

Cheap oil good tho.

Cheap oil cheap plastic. Cheap oil cheap transport. Cheap oil cheap food.

Inject oil directly into veins for cheap cheap.

Petrodollar good tho. Infininite money printing while everyone buys oil with dollar good tho.

Can't have nationalized Vuvuzela oil industry. Nono. Bad.

Can't have Lybian competitor currency for oil trade. Nonono! Very bad.

Can't have sovereign Iran exist at crucial oil tradeline. Nononono! Very not good.

Tariffs bad and good. Mixed bag, tariffs. Keep aligned world subservient, good. Little price increase, bad. Worth it overal, yes.

Military spending now necessary, yes. Right now social spending not necessary.

Republican stronken world order. Next time Democrat come, give little more social, balance restore.

Gotta hit, gotta pet, gotta hit, gotta pet. Cycle. Cycle repeat. Good cycle good.

Oil must flow. Imperial crumbles must flow. Hoard sharing must be minimized but optimized to keep system.

Must be smart, must be smart.

>>2686867
>The job does not pay enough to pay even a quarter of my rent.
but the mass tor baiter told us you get free social programs with every bomb you drop.

The bourgeoisie are now determined to exterminate the proletariat while they figure out an impossible world without them. There will be no more crumbles, and the crumbles already there will be evermore barred from usage.

Can't get food stamps without an address, can't get an address without wages, wages don't pay enough to pay rent, can't use a motel as an address.

>a 2021 study from the University of Chicago estimates that 53% of people living in homeless shelters and 40% of unsheltered people were employed, either full or part-time, in the year that people were observed homeless between 2011 – 2018.

Massie made an interesting tweet:

>Which docs should I view?
>Include EFTA link in reply

there's much discourse online about sam hyde being a pedo but nobody has the courage to ask the question:
>did sam hyde turn to trumpism because he was a pedo?
<or did sam hyde become a pedo to fit in after he became a trumpist?

I'm a millennial and I turned 18 right during the middle of the 2008 crash and OWS and all that. I remember my friend was already working at McDicks when shit was just hitting the fan, and he was talking about how crazy the situation was that 30 year olds and 40 year olds were showing up to apply at McDicks. Before that, this was unheard of. Fast food was a job like strictly for high school and maybe college kids.

Then people started lining up around the block for McDick's jobs. There was that famous incident where that woman drove her car into a line of applicants at a McDonalds that Steven King based Mr. Mercedes off of.

The bourgeoisie demand more, and so they will take more. The proletariat will only get less and less. The bourgeoisie now want no compromises, so they will have no compromises no matter the consequences.

Not that strange, I know a lot of artist friends who everyone always call by their stage name. Also on the streets everyone pretty much goes by a street name, so much so that telling someone telling someone your real name is a step in intimacy "I even let you call me by my government name."

Some of my faves I've met:
>Country
>Peachy
>Risky
>Stone

>>2686879
Some churches do charity letting homeless people use their address and receive their mail there.

>>2686892
A revolutionary is not an artist. The good old Vladimir Ilyich became Lenin not because he wanted to invent a fursona, a rockstar name, but out of necessity.

He was a real mofo, not a fake ass uyghuh

At this point we are all justified in blowing up gasstations and murdering all oilbarons together with their propagandists

Accelerationism

Think before you buy.
