Every single country on earth can afford public services because wages are adjusted for purchasing power.
Even the drc and whatever else. Chuds dont get thst its pointless generating more wealth if it only goes upwards.

You know public services. Roads, healthcare, lower and higher education etc…

Most americans slready have decent access to healthcare, even if it's not socialized

Which makes the smerican leftist obsession with the topic all the more bizarre.

Ask any rando american about it, they'll say "idk dawg I just psy insurance, I'd never move to another country just for free healthcare"

The DRC is full of peasants who dig holes in the road so they can charge people who travel to fill them back in.

I am economically illiterate. What does this mean?

It means people in low GDP countries are payed less for their labour than those in rich countries, but as result of that, prices of locally produced goods and services is also lower.

Public services fucking suck and are degrading to use

Wrong. Public services (treats) cannot be supported solely through taxation. All welfare states require greater and greater amounts of borrowing over time. This means that social democracies have to resort to imperialism in order to sustain their public services. Only by robbing and raping other countries can a nation have generous public services. Example: France which has probably the best welfare state outside the Scandinavian countries constantly assassinates and coups African countries. They do this to continue robbing those countries so they can have treats at home.

>>2694344
The only way to stop imperialism is privatization of everything, we need even more neoliberalism to stop imperialism

>>2694342
the petty bourgeois mind sees it degrading when labor is properly demystified as proletarians taking care of each other collectively, rather than a "right" an individual has to someone else's time and resources because they handed over money for it

there's nothing degrading about being subject to and humble petitioner to public institutions unless you're a bourgeois prick who sees himself above such things

>>2694344
So what about the Scandinavian countries?
Anyway, why do you say it cant be supported through taxation? It is just shuffling labour around.

>>2694346
I am a proletarian, public services are imperialist, I want to end imperialism, see >>2694344

trolling aside they are kind of degrading to use these days. you have to pass through 10 means tests and dozens of call loops to different departments to get anything from the government. even if you pass through, you have to adjust your lifestyle so that you can continue getting the benefits. there's people in my shithole town who voluntarily became alcoholics (not in a fun way) to ease the drudgery of participating in the low-end of the labor market by gaming the system for addiction gibs and social housing. seeking benefits can become a full-time job in its own right. it's certainly not proles taking care of each other like it was at the emergence of the welfare state.

>Wrong. Public services (treats) cannot be supported solely through taxation. All welfare states require greater and greater amounts of borrowing over time
So how are such services maintained in planned economies or in market socialism?

>>2694344
>Example: France which has probably the best welfare state outside the Scandinavian countries constantly assassinates and coups African countries.
This isn't the 1990s anymore. After 20 years of neoliberalism, the French welfare state is a fuck.
And tell me who is Norway and Finland assissinating and couping? You just don't like it when proles get treats, only when the bourgeoisie get them it is good for you middle class radicals.

Well, in the 20th century, Sweden had been ruled by the Social Democrats. They had a welfare system called Folkhemmet. The wealth was distributed rather equally and the goods and services offered to citizens were very high quality. In fact, the government regulated many aspects of the lives of citizens, ensuring that they conform to the mandatory progressive norms
