How can i reconcile my will to work as a detective, solving crimes, conduct investigations with the fact that ACAB? And that I actually serve capital?
Is it possible to be part of this system and keep your principles?
>>2700411I thought most private detective work was infidelity and missing persons with the occasional porky wanting to spy on employees
>>2700393I mean if you work on actual investigation, corruption, murders, rapes, minor protection, prostitution rings and such its not too bad. But ppl like that have education and shit theyre not basic pigs, and i don't think you have the choice to refuse to work on burglary or drugs to reach these better jobs
You can hang yourself after you get the job.
Move to a socialist cointry abd become a police officer there.
All I really know is my grandfather was a Detroit cop and left the force because he couldn't stand the corruption and he couldn't do anything about it. The reason people say ACAB is because so-called "good cops" are the cops who know about the "bad cops" and let them get away with it, making the "good cops" actually bad cops as well. If you join a police force, the odds are almost certain you will be put in a situation where you will know about police corruption and be forced to either act on it and put yourself in an uncomfortable position, or do nothing and be complicit. I would only consider what you're doing if you're confident you can handle being the center of a lot of negative attention and will confront your fellow officers when needed. Realize this will also require a level of competence with bureaucracy, because you can't just shoot your fellow officer, you have to report it through the proper channels if you want something to actually be done about it. Good luck if you do go through with it. If we're going to have cops, we need good ones.
The anti-policing aspects of the left really deserve internment, or…….
