>AI is gonna take all your jobs
<source: one of the biggest AI corps rn
lol how much you got paid to post ts?
>theoretical vs observed coverage
Some skeptism is warrented here
>>2727179>>2727175>>2727182AI won't take jobs because LLMs are just computer version of parrots they have no understanding of reality they're just doing statistical remix of reddit slop. Even if they speed up certain task you need human to double check who is an actual expert.
>>2727175As soon as the labor aristocracy starts getting affected by this we are going to see levels of hitler never seem before
>>2727220well yes, that is how means of production work. they don't
do the work, they merely speed up the work. you still need a human worker to exploit, even if it's fewer workers in number. And that's the idea with AI. it does for "white collar" work what machinery did for "blue collar" work; reduce the number necessary without eliminating them entirely.
>>2727239wheres this image from?
>>2727175Ai will certainly be a threat to the labor artistocracy but I don't think it will really be a 'great recession' imo. Ai is simply to dogshit to threaten most jobs.
>>2727236Hiterlism wouldn't help if AI takes that many jobs. Muh deportations or ethnic cleansing won't fix a 20% unemp. rate.
>>2727297>Ai is simply to dogshit to threaten most jobs. That is the exact reason why it’s threatening jobs. So much money was pulled into making dogshit with no returns.
>>2727305It doesn’t need to, the culling and public displays of cruelty and racism are part of bread and circus
Good, fuck white collar workers
>waah I have carpal tunnel and have to talk at the water cooler my life is just like Severance
>>2727385all party officials will be white collar.
all central planners will be white collar.
cope.
btw every blue collar worker who got a job at my office I fired because they didn't know how to navigate a file system or type an email faster than 5 WPM, let alone ask chat sloppidy a sensible question or vibe code an app. i will keep my nearsighted nerds with pilonidal cysts who can focus for 5 minutes over you rats. stay in the factories and fields where you belong.
>>2727175Why hasn't this been a more effective tactic agitating against Anthropic and that fascist Amodei?
They are dabbing on us
Their periodic product reports literally celebrate how much they will devastate people's lives
As a strategy for getting that sweet VC money
>>2727370It's actually from the second volume I think
https://shared.prolewiki.org/uploads/c/c2/Das_Kapital_manga%2C_Volume_2.pdfLove how the author depicts Marx and Engels in this tbh
>>2727414you're right, it's page 42 of the volume 2 pdf you linked
>>2727236american white colalr workers are mostly educated democrats, theyre not going hitler, theyre genuinely more likelt to be open to communists if the leadership is there
>>2727414>the era of barterTHIS AUTHOR NEEDS TO KILL HIMSELF NOW!!!!!!
>>2727921Democrats are the hitler party
Lots of blue collar stuff is going away as well. Fast food workers, drivers, manufacturing etc. And among white collar workers, a huge number are already bullshit jobs that barely produce any value. Interesting times ahead.
But among all the doomerism, let's not forget that this acceleration of industrialization will massively help the third world as well. The collapse of white collar economy will free up capital to be used in the real physical economy, which is what the third world desperately needs.
>>2728780I don’t live in the third world, why should I or my neighbors give a fuck?
>>27287811) From a purely human perspective, 70% of the world population lives in the third world, so the rise of their standard of living is a good thing
2) industrialization of the third world reduces the competition between third and first world, and can help to build solidarity between the two worlds.
3) industrialization in the third world further reduces global rate of profit, increasing crises and increasing the chances and openings for a communist revolution
>>2728788Proletarians aren’t revolutionary and never have been and most likely never will be
>>2728789What has triggered this tantrum in you? Some recent events perhaps?
>>2727175>oh noo we have to do real work for nowPetit bourgs bitching and crying about AI taking their jobs is the best day of my life.
>>2728798It’s an accurate reading of history and reality
>>2728802>proletarians did not seize paris in 1871>proletarians did not seize petrograd and moscow in 1917ok retard
>>2728806Those people had memories of either being peasants directly beforehand or had parents that were. No country with a proletarian majority ever had a revolution, Paris in 1871 was CHAZ nonsense anyway.
>>2727175 >>2728789The vanguard of every revolution has been disaffected intelligentsia. Despite how much Lenin praised the proletariat and how much Mao praised the peasantry, they never would have accomplished anything without the educated and underemployed. If masses of intelligentsia lose their jobs, that is a very good thing for revolutionary potential.
>>2729193Sure, but the Western left has no shortage of intelligentsia.
I do imagine the "UBI" solution could backfire by giving potential revolutionary classes enough leisure time to organise instead of being perennially exhausted
>>2728813The mode of production switching is what galvanizes revolution. The Marxists of the past were doing wishful thinking that the mode of production was switching earlier than it was in reality. But now with the rise of AI the mode of production is absolutley switching and the more superfluous the working class becomes it diminishes the exchange value that underpins all hirearchy. The bourgeois is outnumbered vastly by the proles and once all their monopoly money becomes worthless nothing can stop their destruction.
