In fact, any unionists even, so long as they believe in strike action, should be placing themselves in critical industries where withdrawal of labor is most potent. If me and three of my coworkers all went on strike today, one of the worlds' largest businesses would be vulnerable to attack from a foreign country. If our movement seeks many of these points of failure, a mere few hundred coordinated workers could upset the current order of things today.
Of course, to ascend to these positions is often reserved for those with privileges, but that doesn't mean we can't still influence these positions externally. The recruitment, or even mere gaslighting of the powerful should be paramount.

In order to reduce cognitive dissonance, when someone has conflicting beliefs/morals and actions, one of them has to conform to the other. I don't think it's impossible to get to these positions as a true double agent, but you'd have to be connected firmly to the people/party/objective you're committed to. Like the Scientologists and other cults plant agents in government. You'd have to be a true agent. No wannabe leader shit.
