SARS-CoV-2 causes lasting immune dysregulation for over 20 months.
>Our findings redefine SARS-CoV-2 infection as a condition of long-lasting immune compromise. The sustained subnormal lymphocytes—particularly in cardiovascular disease cohorts—highlight a key immunologic feature of long COVID and underscore the need for personalized care.
>Even 20 months post-infection, CD8+ T cells remained 9.9% below baseline. Baseline lymphocyte subsets differed significantly by sex and age. Immune recovery varied by age and sex, with older adults and males showing prolonged lymphopenia. In cardiovascular disease patients, T lymphocytes remained 72.9% below baseline for 20 months post-infection.

It's just another flu. The pandemic is over. The mass-disabling event will continue until porky says when.

Capitalists and Communists teamed up to create Covid 19 in a lab. They are two sides of the same shekel.(USER WAS BANNED FOR THIS POST)

I caught covid three times in '19, '21 and didn't beging to recover from the lingering effects until '25. Never took the shots but I doubt it would've made much difference in my case.

Unvaxxed and I only caught it once from a vaxxie I lived with. Can't say I experienced this long covid business. It was just a kinda bad flu. Mostly just the insane amounts of phlegm and shit.

The vaxxie I caught it from only got it because he took a flight to go to some event or something.

I got the delta variant from the vaxxed and the main effects lasted three weeks. The aftereffects were just a bunch of different health problems that seemed to linger forever.

ok so take your vitamins.
Nattokinase 2000 FU twice a day
Bromelain 500 mg once a day
Curcumin 500 mg twice a day

Yeah? And?

I was vaxed but had covid in early 2022 and over the next 12 months I got sick several times. Before that, I'd been sick maybe 2 times in 10 years. It really made me think.

Maybe it has something to do with the masks that people wore, which isolated them from natural microorganisms flying in the air and whatnot

>Science thread gets overrun by antivax and antimask /pol/tards

pretty sure the anti-masker is making light of the anti-vaxxers but it's hard to tell these days. anyway i think the real cause of covid is the ICU's, they saturate people's lungs with the bug in there

>Would a certain class of people materially benefit from a retvrn to Normal (unrestricted global trade and consumerism)? No, it's the face diapers that are wrong.

If I went back to 2008 and told people that vaccine skepticism is now a mainly-rightoid thing, they'd disbelieve it as much as if I went back to 2016 and told them that thinking the elites are all jew-owned pedophile cannibals is now a mainly-leftoid thing.

>>2731924
none of those things are left or right-coded they are retard-coded.

>>2731924
>vaccine skepticism is now a mainly-rightoid thing, they'd disbelieve it

But back then wasn't the first big anti-vax scare when there was some disease outbreak in conservative Orange County California schools? And maybe one in Texas? I might be misremembering I dunno. And a lot of weirdo Christian fundies have been anti-vax for awhile.

I think the western left is not skeptical enough of the medical industrial complex.

Just because fundies and assorted rightards are antivax on principle doesn't mean there's a need to indirectly shill for pharmaporky.

I only ever got the vax once and the booster once, got I think either delta or omicron two years later, the booster felt worse than the first vaccine and the actual disease. I’m lucky it just felt like a nasty head cold for a few days

>>2732202
You would have a point if it wasn't for the fact that both China and Russia also came up with their own vaccines which were developed by state-owned enterprises which weren't motivated solely by profit. But instead the antivax schizos pretended like the entire world was injected with Moderna or Pfizer or whatever and died from mutated mrna and blood clots.

>It really made me think.

Did it?
