https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DispensationalismDispensationalism is a Christian theological framework for interpreting the Christian Bible which maintains that history is divided into multiple ages called dispensations in which God interacts with his chosen people in different ways.[1]: 19 It is often distinguished from covenant theology, the traditional Reformed view of reading the Bible.[2][3] These are two competing frameworks of biblical theology that attempt to explain overall continuity in the Bible. The coining of the term "dispensationalism" has been attributed to Philip Mauro, a critic of the system's teachings, in his 1928 book The Gospel of the Kingdom.[4][5]
Dispensationalists use a literal interpretation of the Bible and believe that divine revelation unfolds throughout its narrative. They believe that there is a distinction between Israel and the Church, and that Christians are not bound by Mosaic law. They maintain beliefs in premillennialism, Christian Zionism, and a rapture of Christians before the expected Second Coming of Jesus, whom Christians believe to be the Messiah, generally before the Great Tribulation.[6]
Dispensationalism was systematized and promoted by John Nelson Darby and the Plymouth Brethren in the mid-19th century.[7]: 67 It began its spread in the United States during the late 19th century through the efforts of evangelists such as James Inglis, James Hall Brookes and Dwight L. Moody, the programs of the Niagara Bible Conference, and the establishment of Bible institutes. With the dawn of the 20th century, C. I. Scofield introduced the Scofield Reference Bible, which crystallized dispensationalism in the United States.
Dispensationalism has become popular within American evangelicalism. In addition to the Plymouth Brethren, it is commonly found in nondenominational Bible churches, as well as among Baptist, Pentecostal, and Charismatic groups.[8] Protestant denominations that embrace covenant theology, such as the Reformed churches, tend to reject dispensationalism.
>>2739238cool it with the antisemitism
>>2739257Beliefs
Dispensationalists see a historic and demographic distinction between Israel and the Christian Church. For them, Israel is an ethnic nation consisting of Hebrews (Israelites), beginning with Abraham.[7]: 127 Believing that the Old Testament promises to Israel await fulfillment, dispensationists link biblical Israel to the modern state of Israel, viewing its establishment as fulfillment of biblical prophecies concerning Israel.[14] Christian Zionism has made evangelical Christians some of the most ardent supporters of the State of Israel in American politics.[5]
Dispensationalism teaches an eschatology that is explicitly premillennial, in that it affirms the return of Christ prior to a literal 1,000-year reign of Jesus Christ on earth as the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies.[7]: 147–148 This millennial kingdom will be theocratic in nature, and not mainly soteriological in the way George Eldon Ladd and others with a non-dispensational form of premillennialism have viewed it.[6] It will be distinctly Jewish, with the throne of David restored.[1]: 31
Dispensational eschatology was popularized in Hal Lindsey's book, The Late Great Planet Earth (1970). In Lindsey's version, the unfolding of events includes the establishment of modern Israel in 1948, Jews regaining control of Jerusalem's sacred sites in the 1967 Arab-Israeli War, a rebuilding of the Temple which has yet to occur, an Antichrist who will come to power, Christians to be removed from the earth in a rapture of the Church, and seven years of tribulation (Daniel's seventieth week) culminating in a great battle of Armageddon in which Christ will triumph over evil and establish a literal 1,000 year reign of his kingdom on earth.[28] Israel and the Church being distinct in this view, the rapture must remove the Church before remnant Israel can be gathered.[1]: 42

It's easier to fool the demoralized than it is to convince them they were fooled so the only option is to ignore them.
>>2739264From the Catholic perspective, dispensationalists believe in millenarianism and enable the antichrist. From the CCC, Art. 7: paragraphs 675-677
675 Before Christ's second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the "mystery of iniquity" in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. the supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.
The Antichrist's deception already begins to take shape in the world every time the claim is made to realize within history that messianic hope which can only be realized beyond history through the eschatological judgement. the Church has rejected even modified forms of this falsification of the kingdom to come under the name of millenarianism, especially the "intrinsically perverse" political form of a secular messianism.
The Church will enter the glory of the kingdom only through this final Passover, when she will follow her Lord in his death and Resurrection. The kingdom will be fulfilled, then, not by a historic triumph of the Church through a progressive ascendancy, but only by God's victory over the final unleashing of evil, which will cause his Bride to come down from heaven. God's triumph over the revolt of evil will take the form of the Last Judgement after the final cosmic upheaval of this passing world.

Iran’s army says in a statement carried by the country’s media outlets that its forces carried out “powerful drone attacks” this morning targeting Israel’s “Lahav 433” special police unit headquarters and the Gilat defence satellite communications centre.
It did not specify the locations of the targeted sites or the results of the attacks.

Here’s a recap of recent developments:
The UK is “intensively looking” at what it can do to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz alongside its allies, according to its energy minister.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty headed to Qatar’s capital Doha, the first stop on a tour of several Gulf states, to “research regional developments” during the US-Israel war on Iran.
A tanker was seen loading oil on Iran’s Kharg island, two days after the US struck military facilities there, according to the vessel-tracking platform TankerTrackers.
A rocket fell in the Bnei Brak and Ramat Gan areas of greater Tel Aviv, according to our correspondent on the ground, injuring four, Israeli emergency services said.
Israel’s Foreign Minister Gideon Saar has denied reports stating that the government is planning to hold direct talks with Lebanon in the coming days, and that it had told the US it was running low on missile interceptors.
Iran claims US and Israel using copycat 'Lucas' drones to frame it for regional attacks
Bahrain arrests 5 on suspicion of spying for Iran
Bahrain’s Interior Ministry says it has arrested five people for collecting and passing on sensitive information to Iran’s IRGC.
The men arrested were between the ages of 25 and 39, with one allegedly having “received intensive training in Iranian Revolutionary Guard camps”, the government’s statement read.
“He and the rest of the detainees took pictures and coordinates of a number of vital and important places, as well as some hotels in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and sent those pictures and coordinates to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, which helped in the process of targeting those sites,” it added.
UAE intercepts 4 ballistic missiles, 6 drones
The UAE’s Ministry of Defence says it has intercepted several ballistic missiles and drones launched from Iran.
“UAE air defenses intercept 4 ballistic missiles and 6 drones,” it said in a statement shared on social media.
It added that air defences have “intercepted 298 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,606 drones” since the start of the US-Israel war on Iran on February 28.
In the UAE, at least six people have been killed and 142 injured in Iranian attacks during the war.
Rocket falls in greater Tel Aviv area; 1 person injured
A rocket has fallen in the cities of Bnei Brak and Ramat Gan in the greater Tel Aviv area, according to our colleagues at Al Jazeera Arabic.
Israeli police said they are investigating several sites where rocket and projectile shrapnel has fallen.
One man was hit by glass shards and received minor injuries, The Times of Israel newspaper reported.
Israeli police had earlier said there were no injuries.
The Times of Israel reported that the latest rocket launched at Israel made “impact in a central city” while “a cluster bomb munition or other falling fragments, caused damage to an apartment building”.
US-Israel plan seems unclear as war on Iran appears to be escalating: Norway
Norway’s Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store says the war in Iran appears to be escalating, adding that the US-Israeli plan for the military campaign seems unclear.
Gahr Store also said no nuclear weapons would be stationed in his country.
Norway strongly criticised Israel’s “preemptive” attacks on Iran, which launched the war, saying they violated international law and labelled Israel an “aggressive nation”.
It has also warned that the US-Israel war on Iran is undermining regional stability.
Israel approves emergency military funding as Iran war rages
Israel has approved an $827m emergency budget allocation for military purchases, according to Israeli media, as the US-Israel war on Iran entered its third week.
The 2.6-billion-shekel package was approved over the weekend by cabinet ministers during a telephone meeting, the Haaretz daily reported. It will be used for “security purchases” and to address “urgent needs”, it said, without providing further details.
A Finance Ministry document circulated to all ministers and cited by several media outlets said, “given the intensity of the fighting”, the additional budget allocation was necessary.
“An urgent and immediate need has arisen to provide an operational response, including the acquisition of munitions, the procurement of advanced weapons systems and the replenishment of critical combat stocks,” the document said.
The document added that the move constituted “an exceptional emergency decision intended solely to address needs arising from the conduct of the fighting”.
The funds will be drawn from the state budget, totalling $222bn and approved by the government on March 12, and expected to be adopted by the Knesset by March 31, according to the reports.

"Sijjil enters the battle"… Revolutionary Guard launches Wave 54: Targeting command centers influential in the occupation's air operations
The public relations department of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on Sunday the launch of the 54th wave of Operation “True Promise 4”, with the use of the “Sejjil” strategic ballistic missile (solid fuel), for the first time in this war.
The Guard also noted the use of the very heavy “Khorramshahr” missiles with two-ton warheads, as well as “Khaibar Shekan,” “Qadr,” and “Emad” missiles within Wave 54.
He also noted the successful targeting of "the command and decision-making centers that influence the Israeli entity's air operations, the infrastructure that influences the military and defense industries, and the locations where Israeli military forces are gathered."
He stressed that this wave came as a tribute to the soul of the martyr Mahdi and Hamid Bakri and the martyrs of East Tigris.
On the other hand, Israeli media said that the “Sejjil” missile, which Iran used for the first time today, has a range of about 2,500 km.
Sirens sounded in and around Tel Aviv, in the heart of the occupied Palestinian territories.
Israeli media reported a direct hit by a missile in the vicinity of Tel Aviv, while other reports indicated that the residence of the US consul in Israel was hit by shrapnel from an Iranian missile.
Israeli media also reported that at least one settler was injured as a result of rocket fragments falling in the "central" area, while Israeli ambulance reported that 3 Israelis were injured as a result of the Iranian rocket bombardment on southern "Tel Aviv".
This Iranian attack comes as part of Operation "True Promise 4", launched by Tehran in response to American and Israeli aggression against it, during which it targets American bases and interests in the region, and qualitative targets of the Israeli occupation inside the occupied Palestinian territories.

Among them is the "Palmahim Air Base south of Tel Aviv"… Hezbollah targets occupation sites and settlements
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced that its fighters targeted the “Palmahim Air Base” south of “Tel Aviv”, which is 140 km away from the Lebanese border, with a qualitative missile at 06:00 this morning, Sunday.
At the same time, they targeted a gathering of occupation vehicles in Khallat al-Aqsa, on the outskirts of the border town of Adaysah, with a swarm of attack drones.
At 08:30 this morning, Sunday, the military industries complex belonging to the Rafael company in the northern Krayot area and the air defense system in Ma'alot-Tarshiha were hit by two missile salvos, in two separate operations.
In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in the context of the warning issued by the Islamic Resistance to the settlement of “Nahariya” in northern occupied Palestine, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted it at 12:00 noon with a barrage of rockets.
At 02:00, Hezbollah targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers in Khallat al-Mahafir, on the outskirts of the border town of Adaysah, with a large barrage of rockets.
Likewise, at 03:00, the Islamic Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers at the Calf Hill site, north of the "Kfar Yuval" settlement, with a rocket salvo.
At 03:45 this morning, Hezbollah targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation army soldiers at the Jibia point opposite the border town of Mays al-Jabal with artillery shells.
At 00:30, midnight Saturday-Sunday, a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers in the "Avivim" barracks was targeted with a rocket salvo.
Israeli media: US consul's residence hit by Iranian missile; injuries reported in Tel Aviv.
Israeli media reported on Sunday that an Iranian missile had fallen almost directly in the vicinity of Tel Aviv.
She spoke about the US consul's residence in "Israel" being hit by Iranian missile shrapnel.
Israeli media also reported that at least one settler was injured as a result of rocket fragments falling in the "central" area, while Israeli ambulance services had previously reported that three Israelis were injured as a result of Iranian rocket fire on southern Tel Aviv.
This news comes in the wake of the announcement by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of the launch of the 54th wave of “True Promise 4” operations, which targeted the occupied Palestinian territories.

Israeli mayors refuse return to normalcy during war
The Israeli army has been trying to ease restrictions on public gatherings. In a nutshell, the mayors of many municipalities are telling the Israeli Home Front Command, which advises the country during the war,… “good luck”.
We’re not going to obey these instructions, even if you communicate them. We don’t think it’s safe yet for schools to reopen. We don’t feel it’s safe for 100 people to gather at any one time, even if there’s a shelter nearby.
And the reason is these [air raid] sirens keep going off. These missiles keep reaching Israeli cities.
In the north, the situation is even worse. You have hundreds of projectiles launched at Israeli towns in the north, with many people being evacuated because it is simply not safe for them to remain in their homes.
So it’s really impossible for mayors to see a formula in which normalcy can return, given all of this. And that directly contradicts all the promises, statements, and confidence Israeli officials expressed in the first days of the war.
Now, an Israeli army spokesperson is telling the media the army has plans for at least three more weeks of fighting.
Iran hits cities across Israel with new missiles: ‘One of the fiercest days’
Another wave of Iranian missile strikes. The attacks hit several locations, including the city of Tel Aviv. Despite all the talk of Iran’s military capabilities being destroyed, we are still seeing strikes coming from Iran into Israel, including [with] what appear to be new types of munitions.
Sources in Israel have told me they counted 10 separate volleys of Iranian missiles from the morning until midday. This is one of the fiercest days of the confrontation since the US and Israel launched the war on Iran, and we are seeing different kinds of missiles coming from Iran.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has been talking about the names and capabilities of some of these weapons. What we can tell you is that some have cluster warheads. They splinter into multiple bombs and can cause damage across a radius as wide as 10km (6 miles). Others are simply larger and carry far more explosives.
They even sound different all the way here in Ramallah. The scope of the attacks has covered cities from Netanya on the northern coast of Israel, all the way to the Negev in the south. So a very wide range of cities.
Millions of Israelis have been in and out of shelters all day, to the frustration, of course, of everyone involved.
Hundreds of ships wait near Strait of Hormuz amid rising regional tensions
There are currently about 1,000 vessels waiting to transit the Strait of Hormuz, including roughly 200 oil tankers carrying supplies needed around the world. Oil markets have reacted with prices soaring, and fuel costs are rising in countries around the world, as the Iranian military still maintains a hold over this very strategic waterway.
There have been a number of threats from Iran’s military towards vessels as they try to make the journey or even get close to the entrance of the Strait of Hormuz. A few days ago, I saw a ship burning in the distance for several hours. There was no indication if it had been attacked by the Iranian military, but given similar actions over the past couple of weeks, that remains a possibility.
Iran has said it will not allow US and US-affiliated ships to pass through, while others are able to transit the waterway. But ships not linked to the United States have also been targeted. Just the other day, a Thai-flagged vessel was attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz and ballistic missiles were targeted towards that. They struck them, and around 20 of the crew members had to be rescued by the Omani Navy. There’s still an understanding that about three crew members are missing at sea.
>>2739903Iran says it does not seek ceasefire, vows continued self-defenseIranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has insisted that Tehran has not requested a ceasefire or sought negotiations with Washington, saying that the country will continue defending itself amid ongoing conflict with the United States.
In comments to CBS News, Araghchi said, “No, we never asked for a ceasefire, and we have never asked even for negotiation. We are ready to defend ourselves as long as it takes. And this is what we have done so far, and we continue to do that until President Trump comes to the point that this is an illegal war with no victory. There are people being killed only because President Trump wants to have fun. This is what he has said.”
Araghchi criticised the US administration’s conduct in the conflict, describing actions such as targeting ships as “a war of choice by President Trump and the United States.”
He also rejected the notion that Iran is fighting a war of survival, saying the government is “stable and strong enough” to defend its people without negotiating.

I have two questions for people who know more than me:
- Do you think there is any chance that any of the gulf countries actually kick out the Americans during/after this? Iran is trying to show them they're nothing but meat shields and has said they will only attack countries that let US/Israel attack them.
- Iran has taken out a bunch of radars and shit. Has this resulted in anything we can observe? I'm thinking the hit to intercept ratio should be improved drastically and maybe sirens not going off etc.

They Were Promised Regime Change. Now Many Iranians Feel Betrayed. One Tehran-based civil-society activist and former political prisoner said Iranians were truly hopeful two weeks ago as the war began. Now, the person said, they feel betrayed. An English-language teacher living in Tehran who is opposed to the government but also the war was more blunt. “We were f—ed over,” the teacher said, saying they were turned into an excuse to launch a devastating war. “It’s like we have gone back a hundred years in time.”
“The penny has dropped for a lot of people that this may be much more about state collapse than regime change,” said Ellie Geranmayeh, an Iran expert at the European Council on Foreign Relations.
The realization that regime change isn’t immediately in the cards has also changed the calculus of Kurdish armed groups based in the border area between Iraq and Iran. After weighing an uprising in the Kurdish-majority areas of western Iran, the Kurds put their plans on hold, deterred by the government’s strength and the lack of foreign military commitment to push for change, according to representatives of several Iranian Kurdish groups, which are mostly based in neighboring Iraq and border areas.

An Israeli force entered the countryside of Daraa and Quneitra
An Israeli force in military vehicles once again entered the western countryside of Daraa and southern Quneitra, setting up checkpoints.
Our correspondent reported that six Israeli military vehicles entered the village of Sayda El Golan in the southern countryside of Quneitra, then withdrew towards the village of Hanout and entered their base in Til El Seji.
In the same context, a military force consisting of 24 vehicles advanced between the towns of Tarneja and Jabat al-Khashab in the northern countryside of Quneitra, while simultaneously establishing a military checkpoint between the villages of Ayn Zaker and al-Maqrez in the western countryside of Daraa.
Recently, Israeli forces have been militarily advancing into southern Syria, with warplanes and helicopters flying overhead.
Tehran on nuclear material, detained Americans and internet access
Iran’s foreign minister has addressed questions about the country’s enriched uranium, detained Americans and internet access during the war.
Araghchi told CBS News that Iran’s enriched uranium supplies are under the rubble of facilities damaged in attacks, as verified by the International Atomic Energy Agency.
“There is the possibility to retrieve them but under the supervision of the agency. If one day we come to the conclusion to do that, it would be under the supervision of the agency. But for the time being, we have no programme. We have no plan to recover them from under the rubble.”
He added that Iran had previously offered to dilute its 60-percent enriched uranium in negotiations with the US, but “for the time being, nothing is on the table.”
Regarding Americans held in Iran, including journalist Reza Valizadeh and Kamran Hekmati, Araghchi said, “Well, if the US and Israel do not attack our prisons, I guess they are safe.”
On internet access, he acknowledged that Iranians generally lack open access but defended his own connectivity. “Well, because I’m the voice of Iranians and I have to defend their right, so this is why I have access to the internet. We have our voice being heard by the international community. But the internet is closed because of security reasons, because we are under attack, we are under aggression and we have to do everything to protect our people. In any country, there are, you know, urgent measures taken for this, for the sake of war.”
Iran’s Araghchi frames missile, drone strikes as retaliation for US use of allied territory
Iran’s foreign minister has framed Iran’s missile and drone operations as responses to US forces using the territory of regional allies.
“These are the countries that have given their soil to American forces to attack us,” Araghchi said during the CBS News interview. “So what can we do? We just sit and watch that American forces are attacking us from their soil? … We are only targeting American assets, American installations and American military bases. Everything belongs to Americans.”
Iran has been attacking its regional neighbours since the outbreak of the conflict more than two weeks ago.
Araghchi added that Iranian forces have provided safe passage for vessels from other nations and the Strait of Hormuz is not completely closed but insecurity arises from US aggression.
“We provide them security to pass because we have not closed this strait. They are not coming themselves because of the insecurity that is there, because of the aggression by the US.”
Kuwait says drones target airport, resulting in damage
The country’s defence ministry says that three drones targeted Kuwait International Airport, causing damage to the radar system.
It added that the country’s armed forces destroyed five additional drones.
‘Countries wary of joining Trump’s Hormuz coalition as war with Iran escalates’
Salman Shaikh, founder of the Shaikh Group, says countries are unlikely to join a US-led naval coalition aimed at reopening the Strait of Hormuz as the war escalates.
Speaking to Al Jazeera from Doha, the Middle East analyst said many governments remain wary of being drawn deeper into the war.
“They’re very reluctant. I’m coming from London right now, and I don’t see that there’s going to be this grand coalition – very different from Gulf War I and Gulf War II, where we had 40, 50 countries joining in this respect,” he said.
Shaikh argued that the immediate priority should be halting the conflict rather than expanding military involvement in the region.
“Nations are not going to try to go into a situation which is going to bring immense harm to them and to their ships,” he said.
He added that Iran believes it can sustain the confrontation through asymmetric tactics despite setbacks to its conventional military capabilities.
“The Iranian state is fighting an existential battle, which is now becoming a nationalist struggle,” Shaikh said, adding that Tehran appears confident it can continue exerting pressure despite military losses.
IEA says 400 million barrels of emergency oil to enter global markets ‘soon’
The International Energy Agency says oil from emergency reserves will “soon” begin reaching global markets after member states agreed to release large volumes to stabilise supply.
In a statement, the agency said 400 million barrels would be made available after disruptions linked to the Israeli-US war on Iran.
Stocks in Asia and Oceania will be released immediately while supplies from the Americas and Europe are expected to start entering the market towards the end of March.

>>2739984But they can exert pressure so that burgers have more things to be careful about
>>2739987This. If China adopts a more threatening posture to US allies in the region it will cause the Americans to react in one of two ways. Either they'll maintain or increase their presence in the area, thus tying down resources and preventing them from being used against Iran. Or they'll continue to withdraw forces from the area for the war, thus causing America's local allies to question the value and reliability of American "protection".
>>2739984Actually, they'll be able to remove a hostile government without needing to tolerate HK kind of a deal. Plus, it will positively decimate American markets - in the times of oil price surge.
China won't do this because they don't want to risk their citizens' and compatriots' lives.
>>2739991Hopefully china takes as many opportunities to increase cost. The longer the U.S stays in the Iran conflict the more chaos is going to erupt in Asia. Ironically it’ll mostly be U.S allies and vassals impacted so china might be calculating that as well. Regardless china needs to whatever it can do to drain the U.S. they don’t necessarily have to get into the war either. Increasing military exercise, sanctions, or even a soft blockade on Taiwan.

If the U.S is forced to withdraw and even accept half of Irans terms it’ll undo 80 years of U.S imperialism in the Middle East. Iran and allies will be able to dislodge Israel and U.S imperial ambitions are done for, it won’t happen in one swift moment but start unraveling in the coming decade, maybe even next couple years. Then the U.S will no longer be able to export its crisis into the third world and the American proletariat will be faced with having to reckon with their ruling class.

‘Iran war shakes Gulf confidence in US security guarantees’
Salman Shaikh, founder of the Shaikh Group, says the US-Israeli war on Iraq is prompting Gulf states to reassess Washington’s role as their primary security guarantor.
Speaking to Al Jazeera, the Doha-based analyst said the conflict has raised questions across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) about the extent of US protection in the region.
“We see the simple fact is that the US has not been able to protect the GCC states,” he said.
Shaikh noted that frustration with Iran still runs deep among Gulf governments.
“That’s not to say that the GCC is not mad with Iran for what they’ve done”, he said, adding that Tehran must tread carefully as tensions rise.
At the same time, he said Gulf states remain in close consultation with each other as they consider their next steps.
“While they’re talking to each other, for sure they have to know that if they’re not more united … they’re probably going to face more threats,” Shaikh said, pointing to discussions about stronger regional alliances among Gulf leaders, even a NATO-style defensive alliance.
Trump faces domestic pressure over Iran war as polls show majority oppose it
Is Trump facing any pressure domestically? Well, there has been pressure, mainly from the Democratic side, which has been sharply critical of President Trump’s decision to go to war. But even some Republicans have expressed concerns about this.
And perhaps most importantly, members of the MAGA movement, the base of President Trump’s support, have spoken out against his decision to go into a war that they say he pledged he would not involve America in.
In two presidential campaigns, one of his pledges was not to involve Americans in another war in another country.
Well, this is precisely what he has done. So there have been rumblings of discontent even among members of his MAGA base.
Generally, though, he still appears to have the support of the bulk of Republicans. But opinion polls indicate that the majority of Americans are deeply opposed to this war.
And this is something that could have a political impact on President Trump and the Republican Party as the country nears the midterm elections in a few months time.

Attacks on Baghdad Airport and Hashd al-Shaabi bases
As the war between the US, Israel, and Iran continues, attacks on Iraq are also increasing. According to reports, Baghdad International Airport was targeted six times by missiles and drones. The attacks were carried out by the Islamic Resistance Forces operating in areas near the Iranian border. While some of the attacks were intercepted by the air defense system, no damage was reported at the airport.
On the same day, US warplanes bombed Hashd al-Shaabi bases on the Kirkuk border. The bombs fell on the 17th and 40th battalions near the village of Melhe in the Dubiz district. No information regarding casualties or material damage has yet been reported in connection with these attacks.

>A frail-looking wisp of a man advanced to the microphone. “All men are created equal,” he declared, as all of Hanoi listened. “They are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights; among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.” He paused and then elaborated. “This immortal statement,” he explained, “was made in the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America in 1776. In a broader sense, this means: all the peoples on earth are equal from birth, all the peoples have a right to live, to be happy and free.”
>Jefferson, toward the end of his great document, had proclaimed that the Americans were simultaneously dissolving all political ties with Great Britain and declaring their independence. “We … the representatives of the United States of America. . . do . . . solemnly publish and declare,” he wrote, “that these united colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent states.” Ho Chi Minh struggled to recall Jefferson’s exact words. “We, the members of the provisional government of the democratic republic of Vietnam proclaim solemnly to the entire world: Viet Nam has the right to be free and independent, and, in fact, has become a free and independent country.”
>The American Declaration of Independence ends with a pledge taken by all its signers. “And, for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.” Ho Chi Minh’s version of the final pledge encompassed not just the signers but the whole Vietnamese people. “The entire people of Viet Nam,” Ho declared, “are determined to mobilize all their spiritual and physical strength, to sacrifice their lives and property in order to safeguard their independence and liberty.” >>2740621Certified 💎

The Revolutionary Guard's naval forces strike US air bases in the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran carried out several simultaneous waves of attacks targeting four US air bases with precise and intensive strikes.
The Guard's public relations department said that missile and drone units targeted command and control centers, air traffic control towers, air defense hangars, and support and equipment depots at Al Dhafra Air Base, Al Udeid Air Base, and Ali Al Salem Air Base belonging to the US forces, in addition to Sheikh Isa Air Base.
Statement 40, within the framework of "True Promise 4", indicated that the targeting was carried out using types of precision ballistic missiles and cruise missiles with new warheads, in addition to suicide drones.
"More than 80% of the radars and vital points in the American bases were destroyed."
Over the past few days, the armed forces have managed to destroy more than 80% of the strategic radars and vital and important points in the US forces’ bases.
According to field reports, confusion and helplessness are evident in the American leadership , and a sharp decline in the morale of American soldiers and pilots on the battlefield is observed, according to the Guard's public relations statement.
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard continues to target American bases and occupied territories, considering them the source of attacks launched against his country. Today, the Guard launched the 54th wave of “True Promise 4,” targeting the administration centers that influence the occupation’s air operations, and used the “Sejjil” ballistic missile for the first time in this war.
Brigadier General Naeini: Many of the missiles we produced after the "12-Day War" have not yet been used.
Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, spokesman for Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, said that many of the missiles produced by Iran after the “12-day war” have not yet been used.
Naeini added that Iran has full sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, stressing that his country will not allow the enemy to benefit from the advantages of this strait.
Naeini added that "most of the missiles that Iran is currently launching are from a decade ago."
He also addressed US President Donald Trump, saying: "Doesn't Trump claim that he destroyed the Iranian naval force? Then let him bring his warships into the Gulf region if he has the courage."
The spokesman for Iran’s Revolutionary Guard added that US intelligence estimates had predicted a limited and short-term war, and never anticipated involvement in a wide geographical area.
He noted that those estimates were also based on the occurrence of rapid chaos within the country and the formation of a large global coalition against Iran.
Naeini pointed out that the Americans estimated that Iran would face a political collapse with the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader.
He emphasized that the third leader of the revolution entered the field with the same spirit of confronting arrogance and the discourse of resistance.
Earlier, Israeli media reported that the “ Sejjil ” missile, which Iran used for the first time today, has a range of about 2,500 km.
As reported today by the British newspaper "Financial Times", quoting American officials, no one has accomplished what Iran has , after analysts acknowledged that Tehran is developing its missile system and exhausting Tel Aviv and Washington.
Most of them are occupation gatherings in the south… What is the outcome of the resistance operations targeting Lebanon today?
On Sunday evening, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced that it had targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers with a rocket barrage, and hit a “D9” bulldozer with a guided missile in the Taybeh project in southern Lebanon, in two separate operations between 14:00 and 14:15.
The Islamic Resistance targeted a gathering of vehicles and soldiers of the Israeli occupation army at the Al-Khazan hill in the town of Al-Adisa on the Lebanese-Palestinian border with artillery shells.
In Al-Khiam, the resistance targeted a gathering of occupation soldiers near Al-Khiam Stadium, and another gathering east of Al-Khiam detention center with two rocket salvos for each.
The resistance also reported that on Saturday evening, the mujahideen targeted a Merkava tank north of the Khiam detention center with a guided missile and hit it directly.
In this context, the Israeli channel "Kan" reported that a direct, face-to-face clash took place last night between Hezbollah fighters and soldiers of the Israeli occupation army, noting that the clash demonstrated the "boldness of the Radwan forces" of Hezbollah during the confrontation with the occupation forces.
Meanwhile, the newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” pointed out that the public was being told that Hezbollah “had suffered heavy blows and was almost finished,” stressing that they were “selling illusions to the public,” according to what a senior former security official who participated in the war said.
Likewise, the Islamic Resistance bombed a gathering of occupation soldiers at the Calf Hill site north of the Kfar Yuval settlement with a rocket salvo.
The Meron air operations monitoring and management base in northern occupied Palestine was targeted twice, first by a squadron of attack drones, and then hours later by a missile salvo.
Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Katsafia base in the occupied Syrian Golan with a barrage of rockets.
As part of the warning issued by the Islamic Resistance to the northern settlements, the Islamic Resistance bombed the settlements of "Kiryat Shmona" and "Avivim" on Sunday evening, with a barrage of rockets for each of them.
Earlier today, Hezbollah announced that its fighters targeted the "Tsnobar" logistics base in the occupied Golan Heights with a missile salvo at 3:30 PM on Sunday.
Hezbollah continues its defensive response to the Israeli occupation’s ongoing aggression against various regions of Lebanon since March 3, leaving hundreds of martyrs and wounded and causing damage and destruction in residential areas.

The Metropolitan Police says it is investigating chants of "death to the IDF [Israel Defense Forces]" led by Bobby Vylan, of the punk duo Bob Vylan, at an Al Quds Day protest in central London.
Hundreds attended static protests on Sunday after Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood agreed to a police request to ban the annual march over fears of public disorder.
Twelve arrests were made during a protest and counter-protest, the Met said.
Videos on social media appeared to show Vylan, whose real name is Pascal Robinson-Foster, making a speech at the demonstration before chanting "death, death to the IDF" as the crowd joined in.

Comrade Kim's speech from today BTW:
>Comrade Kim Jong Un ’s speech before the working class and officials of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine
Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un participated in the election for delegates to the Supreme People's Assembly at the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine and delivered a speech before the coal mine working class and officials.
The speech is as follows.
Dear voters!
The working class and officials of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine, dedicating themselves to the nation's prosperity and strength at the outpost of the self-reliant economy!
Comrades!
Today, I participated in the voting to elect the representative of our nation's highest sovereign body here at the Cheonseong Youth Coal Mine of the Suncheon District Youth Coal Mine Complex, one of our country's leading coalfields.
I am truly happy to cast a vote in favor of a working-class candidate on the day of the fifteenth Supreme People's Assembly delegate election in the history of our Republic, and to be together with the coal miner comrades whom I have always respected in my heart.
I take this opportunity to extend my warmest encouragement to the working class and officials of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine, who are steadfastly defending the coal front with their pure and innocent hearts, faithfully serving the Party and the State, and with unwavering labor struggle.
Furthermore, I express my gratitude to all voters across the country who are actively participating in the delegate elections with faith and pride in our socialist cause, a sense of ownership befitting the masters of the state government, and patriotic fervor.
I firmly believe that through today's election, our popular sovereignty will be once again solidified like a rock by true representatives of the people, and furthermore, the functions and roles of the Republic's government will be further enhanced in accordance with the new stage of transformation.
Comrades!
Today is a significant day when the miners of Cheonseong elect their own representatives to participate in state affairs.
While voting is a right exercised by every citizen of the Republic, I believe it is not easy for everyone to participate in the vote with a sense of proud honor.
In our country, which is pioneering the first steps of history and achieving the socialist cause, the working class is the most powerful force of creation and transformation, and is the vanguard leading the entire society with a steadfast revolutionary spirit and noble demeanor.
Among them, the working class in the coal industry sector is the core of the country, making the most valuable contributions at the forefront of national construction.
The achievements made through the dedicated struggle of the Cheonseongtan workers here have also served as the cornerstones of the strata of phenomenal progress and development our nation has ascended during the particularly difficult and arduous past years.
The working class of Cheonseong, which has guarded the lifeline of the people's economy and protected the revival and prosperity of the nation, and has engraved a glorious era of struggle in every year of the revolution, has risen up even more vigorously without hesitation in recent years amidst such hardships, bringing about ceaseless innovation in coal production.
That hard work and effort cannot be fully expressed in just a word or two.
I cannot help but feel reverent when I think that right beneath this land where people carelessly tread, there lies the path of patriotism that the most beautiful and pure human beings have imprinted throughout their lives, and that the traces of their valiant struggle are clearly visible at every turn.
There are many patriotic coal miner families in this mine who have been protecting the coalfield for three generations; if one does not truly love this country, one cannot walk the thousands of feet of underground tunnels that others dread for generations.
These are true citizens living with conviction and conscience for the sake of the country, and that is why they are our coal miners who are all the more precious and trustworthy.
I once again express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering patriotism, which unsparingly pours out your noble sweat and passion to strengthen the lifeline of the self-reliant economy and invigorate the vitality of the times, and for your heroic struggle and achievements in supporting our Party and State with your whole heart from deep underground.
On this occasion, I extend my warm greetings to the wives and mothers of coal miners, as well as to the long-time contributors, who, together with their husbands and children, devote their hearts and minds to the nation's coal production.
Comrades!
Coal is the food of our industry yesterday and today, and the driving force of self-reliant economic development.
As our development accelerates and our ideals turn into reality, the demand for coal is becoming increasingly urgent.
The key industries that must drive the prosperity and revitalization of our nation use coal as fuel and raw material.
Therefore, at the 9th Party Congress held recently, it was decided to increase production in the coal industry sector by 1.2 times compared to the current level as a goal for the new five-year struggle.
I look forward to the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine, which has always been connected to the capital Pyongyang and has built mountains of coal with patriotic passion leaping in every mine shaft, playing a powerful pivotal role at the forefront of the new five-year plan for occupying high ground with its heroic fighting spirit and dignity.
Just as it was heroic and innovative yesterday, the working class of Cheonseong must continue to uphold its high honor as a pioneer and exemplary unit in the coal industry today, tomorrow, and forever.
Comrades!
This Party Congress discussed the construction of housing for miners, the transformation of coal mining districts, and the technological renewal of the coal industry sector as major strategic tasks for the new prospective planning period.
In an era of transformation and progress for the entire nation, this undertaking can no longer be delayed or postponed; it has become a critical task that our Party and State must rightfully shoulder and carry out without fail.
Along with another bold revolution to shake off the backwardness of coal mining villages, which is far removed from the nation's status and the demands of reality, the most advanced new life and new culture of the working class will clearly take their place at the center of our era.
Comrades!
Although challenges and obstacles are inevitable on our path of progress, the unified striving and united strength of the citizens of the Republic, who love our country and system, possess unwavering faith in socialism, and embody an indomitable revolutionary spirit, will always bear successful fruit.
Respected fellow coal miners of the same nature!
The Party Central Committee firmly trusts the comrades.
Let us fully display the pride, courage, wisdom, and bravery of the heroic working class and surely achieve our beautiful and sacred ideals.
Let us make our homeland shine as a powerful and prosperous nation forever through a more fervent, more innovative, and more tenacious struggle.
I pray that all the miners of Cheonseong Youth Coal Mine stay healthy and that their families are filled with joy and happiness. (End)

🇺🇸🇮🇱 Trump on Netanyahu:
”[Israel is] working with us… we really get along well.
He will tell you we’re leading the whole thing, doesn't matter, the main thing is to get it done, but I would say my relationship with Netanyahu is extraordinary.”

>>2741418>Living in poverty while financially secure and surrounded by family is unironically preferable to living under Capitalism where you're atomized and turned into a cog for the stock market.TRVKE. I've been to a very poor third world country once and it's crazy how much nicer and friendlier people are there. People will say its because they know I'm a foreigner with cash or maybe race or something, but my general impression was that people were just a lot more chill and friendlier. Look at the places known for the rudest or unfriendly people are the most urbanized places like Paris, New York, etc. Heck you even see that divide with small towns vs. big cities in the same country. Made me really want to live there but that would be crazy with no language or marketable skills. Also, sadly, the country is continuing to develop and become Americanized as a result. Development is a blessing and a curse.

BREAKING: Trump weighing putting boots on the ground to seize Iran's critical oil depot on Kharg Island, U.S. officials say - Axios
Trump is drawn to the idea of seizing Kharg Island outright because it would constitute "an economic knockout of the regime" — essentially defunding Tehran, according to a US official - Axios

>>2741439I mean you're right that south korea actively prevents them from going back but they're not able to stop them all, I took a DMZ tour from a defector who said his friend went back to NK and was pissed about it cuz he knew his real name and didn't want the authorities finding out
>>2741439>They would but they are not allowed to by the SK government. They are literally trapped in that hellworldIf RoK suspects still DPRK sympathies they cannot get a passport, if they can get a passport. or smuggled they go to China then home. A lot of DPRKoreans travel back and forth to china.
>>2741452did you argue with him about how he should go back too because north korea is best korea and the south is just a cargo cult for the US military?

>>2741436>>2741418I think a thing about capitalism is that the more advanced it is, the more aspects of everyday life it impacts and the more it fractures the relationships that exist ostensibly outside the market.
Like in the U.S. there’s a culture that foreigners sometimes encounter where boomer parents will kick their kids out as soon as they turn 18. Sometimes it’s paired with faux-sympathy of how it’s “time to leave the nest” and “you’ll thank me when you’re a millionaire” but it’s a kind of individualism that I think would be considered cruel and unthinkable in some pre capitalist social formations. This isn’t even the dissolution of the extended clan of medieval and tribal societies, this is the dissolution of the immediate family. I saw this post from a Chinese expat about how weird they found it that western parents will refer to the family home as “MY” home in contrast to the “our” of family life.
This is almost always framed in a kind of market mentality. That casting your kid onto the street is a boon because it’ll compel them to enter the workforce quicker or become renters or what have you. Like, there’s an actual belief among some types of parents that by being needlessly cruel to their kids they’re “teaching them how the world works” and not just setting them up for failure.
