>ProPublica is reporting that the Department of Homeland Security is demanding access to the Federal Parent Locator Service. It’s a database holding the name, address, Social Security number, employer and salary of every employed person in the U.S., plus sensitive information on children and domestic violence victims. The service is used by the government to find people who owe child support. Federal law explicitly bars DHS from using the database, but the Department of Health and Human Services is actively considering the request.Flood detected thank you jannies
>>2747075he knows full well this war in iran is bad, he has the stink of trump on him, the longer this war goes on the more he is associated with it
if true its because he now has the stink of trump on him because of this stupid war. with vance out of the way that makes room for rubio to run, looks like the GOP returns to being ultra neocon zogbots . i totally expect whoever runs for the gop in 2028 to lose, and i expect the democrat who wins the democrat primary to coast to the presidency
with vance out of the way do you think a clown car of republicans will run or will it be a small affair because they know they wont win
who else is running on the republican side?
cruz, rubio, desantis.
thats all i can think of.
what if massie runs lol?
anyways, whoever wins the democrat primary in 2028 is pretty much going to coast to the presidency

>>2747066He was catholic yanqui. He was zionist. He was epstein. He wanted all illegals deported. His own people expose him. You baby blood drinking pirates have no heros nevermind cpusa attempt to mitigate parasitic settler epstein nature of their fascist labor movement
chavez was the closest the glowies could find to a proletarian epstein
Cpusa is an epstein party. Cpusa calls victim's accusations "alleged" as they repost the victim's statement. Cpusa spit upon women
>Huerta’s statement defends the farmworkers, the Latino community, and the broader labor movement against those who might try to use the alleged failings of an individual leader to undermine their collective achievements and rights.
>>2747093I like the part about baby blood drinking pirates the most. It's funny, but don't make them sound cool by calling them pirates.

>>2747093>>2747096>>2747099Meds.
>>2747105It's not the idea that a lefty could be a sexual predator that glows. It's that it comes out 30 years after his death amid a right-wing assault on all aspects of American life while a Second Great Depression looms over the economy.
>>2747106his union supported israel and wanted to deport illegals. the entire union is cointel. Cpusa cast doubt upon his epstein nature. You defend honor of sexual predator and fascist labor aristocrat. You are epstein
Regarding Cesar Chavez if you guys read you got to read Trampling out the Vintage by Frank Bardacke. It's a fairly decent critical history of Chavez and the UFW by a guy who participated in the movement. I don't know if the author is involved in any glowie activity but he seemed to be a leftist with intentions of defending working people. It's a massive book though.
>>2747105The weird cult of personality around him (which he fostered) and kiddie diddling probably go together tbh
The AFL-CIA is an explicitly anti-communist organization which exists to prevent the rise of a militant, organized working class in America, seeing that one of it's strongest soldiers is a child molester should come as no surprise to you.
The venn diagram of anti-communists and pedophiles is almost a perfect circle.

During the school year, he would be back home.
>>2747066It seems fake af.
They’ve been trying to smear MLK with glowie compromising material for decades.
>>2747197everything in america is reactionary relative to the rest of the planet. that is why the american left respect people like MLK Jr and Malcolm X despite the former's zionism and the latter's membership in the NOI cult. It's relative. John Brown had 20 kids, beat them mercilessly, was a small business owner, and a big religious nutcase. But he killed slave owners and that's based. Some of you make individualist mistakes of assessing "people" and their "records" rather than the results of the role they played. Like you see yourself as judges and you want to go around stamping individuals' "permanent records" with the "reactionary" stamp so you can get a little dopamine rush on a dying imageboard. It's sad shit.
>>2747167
>Even this more modest total, however, would require that each Mongol kill more than a hundred people; the inflated tallies for other cities required a slaughter of 350 people by every Mongol soldier.
Does it though? He was catapulting plague-ridden bodies over city walls. A lot of Temujin's kill count likely results from disease and famine, not direct slaughter carried out by his soldiers.

To violate the law of frugality is to violate the basic requirement of socialist economic development and to violate the basic interests of the proletariat and the laboring people. Therefore, whether frugality is enforced is primarily an issue of whether the objective law of the socialist economy is accepted and an issue of whether the basic interests of the proletariat and the laboring people are valued.
>>2747426Why cant cpusa refer to epstein's crimes as "personal failings" like they did to fascist rapist yabqui worker. Because that would be moronic. The multitude of workers who faced terrible conditions doing some of the hardest labour in California, trying to have better conditions is bad because one of the leaders did something bad?

Anon who is a juror for murder trial here. Very important tip for all you adventurist and protest folks. Never ever bring your cell phone to ANYTHING that you think can end up going sideways.
This case in large part hinges upon cell phone tower data trying to put together circumstantial evidence with a data "expert" from police department.
Just know no matter what cops try they can't really triangulate you a location by more than around half a mile. If these guys did not have phones tied to their names their chance of beating this case would definitely go up I say as a juror. A lot of moving parts aside from that of many people involved they got to work out what their part was or part was not.
But do not bring your phone ever folks

Do you guys think the U.S is gonna collapse before 2030 ? Genuine question.
>>2748092There won’t be a collapse, it’ll just be the status quo but worse every year until the sun swallows the earth like Pac Man does his bits
>>2748092if this war with Iran keeps going it's going to cause an economic crisis for the entire world. I'm not talking about gas getting more expensive either, everything is going to get more expensive because the entire economy depends on oil. this war is already really unpopular, the US is extremely divided with no off-ramp for the current regime to be replaced with a competent status quo that could maintain the existence of the United States in its current form; the "best" case scenario is that the Democrats get in power, do nothing fundamentally different from the Trump administration, and then four more years later history lurches back into motion again even more violently than when Trump 2 started. on top of all this, the regime has been doing everything in its power to strip away the borderline nonexistent safety new liberal welfare programs (which were already mostly decimated under Clinton), while also making the economy so bad that scammers are now trying to entice people with jobs instead of free money, and the entire ruling class is rushing to accelerate this as much as possible by shoving AI into everything.
let's also talk about AI: the US economy on paper seems like it's been doing well over the past few years, but this is all propped up by fictitious speculative finance capital which is largely concentrated into a handful of tech companies that don't produce anything other than hype for technologies that suck and don't work and that everyone hates. the current bubble we're in dwarfs the 2008 and dotcom bubbles several times over and at this point it's basically public knowledge that we're in a bubble, but I don't think anyone realizes the sheer magnitude of this bubble. it will take down the entire economy with it.
on top of all this, it's also essentially public knowledge at this point that the entire regime is staffed by pedophiles. everyone who doesn't loathe the Trump admin and openly wishes for their deaths are psychopathic cultist MAGAts whose only goal in life seems to be to be able to take part in the Bataillean orgy of cruelty and violence that has been unfolding. the rest of the world also openly mocks the United States for being run by the Epstein class, and increasingly more countries, including our former allies, are starting to wake up to the reality that the US is a dying empire, a rouge terrorist state, and that it would be far more expedient to align themselves with our greatest rival (China).
to be honest I'm surprised that the US hasn't already collapsed but it just goes to show how much wealth and power the US has hoarded for itself to be able to last this long. but with each passing day, the accursed share continues to grow. I genuinely cannot imagine a future for the United States, even a near-future, that doesn't involve this country undergoing a radical change. either a revolution or a Balkanization collapse scenario.
>>2748115>revolution or a Balkanization collapse scenarioi mean the uSSa is pretty balkanized as it is rn it's pretty much split from blue to red (dem and rep) ever since trump got back into office
>>2748115Within sphere of imperialism, yankoid always benefit most from crisis. Thats why the do this
honkoid status?
>>2748121indeed we've already seen several limited instances over the last six years of Balkanization already happening, especially with the healthcare coalitions that the west coast and northeast have had to form in response to the CDC being occupied by an antivaxxer. the US has also always been more intelligible in terms of its regional cultures and economies than on a national level; it's why they had to construct deranged shit like American civic religion to meme people into thinking that the US has ever been anything more than a business venture for the most nakedly barbaric forms of capitalism.
my soy alt-history speculation is that the near-future is going to essentially involve a split between the blue and red parts of the country, where the red states are going to turn into basically slave colony Christofash ethnostates and human trafficking rings for pedophile billionaires, and the blue states are going to elect progressive liberals and DSA types who will attempt to keep things stable and ultimately fail at it, leading to a kind of recurrence of the situation in Russia after the 1905 revolution.
>>2748131if they actually do a Blue Terror it will essentially be the same kinda shit that MAGA has currently been doing: modern American culture has become increasingly dominated by a fixation on entertainment that locks into its long history of being constantly at war and also being a settler state where antisocial behavior, paranoia, and violence are all an accepted part of American life and people are detached from violence in media. Nuremberg'ing the Trump administration would be the liberal equivalent of dispatching ICE mercenaries to deport brown people; everyone on the left or left-of-center will cheer it on because everyone wants to see the people they dislike suffer more than they want their own lives to improve,
certainly not if that involves have to actually get off their fat asses and do something themselves instead of hoping someone else takes care of it.
it would only be a distraction from the problems this country has but it might be an effective distraction for a little while until reality sets in and everyone remembers that they have no future under this current system that has only lasted as long as it has because of US imperialism. once again, it'll be like a recurrence of the 1905 Russian revolution.
>>2748121>>2748130On the other hand America contains less distinct regional identities than some other countries imo. Balkanization would be a pretty complicated and bloody affair cause of how interdependent states are.
I could see maybe some blocs, like the west coast or New England, but shit like the Great Plains states? Honestly they’ve got a ton of stuff working against them, chances are they could become an internal colony of whatever other U.S. states become nation states. Personally I’d see balkanization as a temporary formation before some warlord tries to reunite the country.
>>2748121It’s an urban rural divide and rural America is ran by reactionary extractivist capitalists and what’s left of the petit bourgeois and depending on where you are, a large lumpen population
>>2748145I've oversimplified things a bit by saying that I think it'll be an either/or Balkanization or revolution sort of scenario, I think it's more likely that there will be a degree of regional Balkanization and like you said that there will be blocs of more distinct regions like New England and the west coast that have somewhat functional local liberal governments. but large swathes of the country as far as I can tell have no culture or identity beyond the local Walmart and are the most likely to be easily controlled by whatever opportunistic far-right billionaires try to take power.
this is possibly also partly wishful thinking on my part because I think Balkanization is the only realistic scenario the US has in the near future where things turn out relatively okay (in terms of history progressing forward). but no matter what happens, unless by some miracle the United States continues to exist intelligibly as a single entity, it's going to be a chaotic and violent upheaval that there really isn't a straightforward historical comparison to make. as far as I can tell the US right now is currently like a combination of the fall of the Soviet Union, the end of the Tsarist monarchy, and also fascism all happening in parallel.
An American Civil war (if it were to happen) would be like Syria, but across an entire continent, cities are slaughterhouses and the rural reactionary landowners and extractivist capitalists rule. You would have liberal enclaves in red states and conservatives under siege from libtards.
You can’t have an insurgency in a country where people don’t know their neighbors
>>2748162Minneapolis has shown that there's a way forward but it'll only happen when Americans experience acute existential threats that force them back into reality.
>>2748164But if you really ever pose an existential threat they will turn American cities into Gazas, just look at how they treat any majority black city near the Gulf coast when hurricanes hit
>>2748131"Blue Terror" will never happen, both the republicans and democrats have the same economic overlords.
Only way this could happen is if Mamdani actually reforms the democratic party, and that probably won't happen.
>>2748115I mean I agree, but AI doesn't necessarily suck on top of being a bubble. I for one enjoy using Gemini as an alternative to google search. It still spews out the list of citations from where the info came from but it's easier to navigate and refine than trying game the obviously rigged search results and SEO with search parameters.
I am betting on AI powered search eventually getting as bad, or worse, but that's just capitalism.
>>2748168the MOVE bombing is a better example of this but the main difference in either case is that examples like Minneapolis are racially integrated struggles that can't be easily dismissed using the usual mechanisms of white supremacy. the US govt very well could still do another MOVE or Waco but both of these instances, hell even New Orleans after Katrina, happened in a context where the US could still get away with things like that without any kind of scrutiny because the mainstream accepted narrative was still that the US is a democracy and not a terrorist state. but especially with this Iran war that is rapidly changing, which is both dangerous because it signals that the US has far less scruples about openly carrying out acts of imperialistic aggression, but it's also historically necessary for everything the US has been doing for its entire history to be out in the open and acknowledged for what it is.
>>2748178Like i could maybe see a split between a ruling class that is supportive of social-democrat principles and another ruling class that is techno-feudist larpers, both of which forming competting groups of capital trying to reform america in their vision.
BUT AGAIN, unless class warfare gets really bad many of these billionaires won't care about supporting mandani unless threatened with death.
>>2748179LLMs have their uses but them being shoved into everything because the tech industry under capitalism no longer has the ability to innovate and can only hype up the latest advances in computer science until the well has been thoroughly poisoned (see blockchains for another recent example) is the upshot of the point I'm making.

>Thanks very much for joining me. I don't have to tell you, uh, but we are living in unprecedented and dangerous times. Uh, it seems that every day there is an action or a statement from the Trump administration that is grossly illegal, uh, crazy, vulgar, or all of the above. Uh, amidst, in the midst of all of the chaos that we're seeing, I just wanted to say a few words to you about what I and my co-workers have been concentrating on. And basically what we are trying to deal with are some of the most important issues facing the American people and in fact the world. Issues that in too many respects Congress and the corporate media are not dealing with. So, let me just start off with Trump's authoritarianism. Uh, I don't have to tell you that in the White House today, we have a president who is not only a pathological liar, uh, but he is a narcissist, a kleptocrat, and an extremely dangerous person. Uh, he wants more and more power uh into his own hands and could care less about the Constitution of the United States, the rule of law, common decency or democracy. And the fight against authoritarianism is a struggle that we are engaging in uh on a number of fronts. Uh last month uh I offered an amendment in the Senate that received 49 votes, all of the Democrats and two Republicans to rescind the $75 billion that ICE received as part of Trump's big beautiful bill uh which in my view is was the worst piece of legislation passed in the modern history of our country. Uh so we are trying to get money out of ICE so that they do not continue to occupy uh communities throughout this country. And further uh with your help, with many of your you helping our campaign was able to raise $200,000 for some of the very courageous people in Minnesota and their organizations who fought back against the ICE occupation uh and showed us what grassroots activism looks like. Uh and I should also tell you obviously uh that in preparation for the 2026 elections, we are working really hard to support uh candidates all across the country uh who are standing up for working people. Uh and perhaps most importantly, uh we are going to do our best to make sure that these elections uh are fair uh and are not designed by Republicans uh to retain control over the House and the Senate. A lot that is going on that worries me very much about they're trying to uh create situations where people do not have the opportunity to participate in a free and fair election and we've got to fight that and we are in a number of ways. Uh further uh we have to continue to deal with what I consider to be uh the most significant domestic issue of our period, the moment that we're living in. And that is the growth of oligarchy uh in the United States. And sadly uh this is an issue that many of my colleagues uh in the Congress uh prefer not to deal with for obvious reasons. Uh the corporate media almost by definition does not address it. But I think ordinary Americans in their guts understand uh that never before uh in the history of our country have so few individuals held so much wealth and so much power. Uh today with the top 1% owning more wealth than the bottom 93%, we have more income and wealth inequality than ever before. Uh while 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. The oligarchs are not only getting richer but importantly they are increasing their power by buying up media. I don't know if you've been following, you know, Larry Ellison and others buying up CNN, buying up uh CBS, uh, Bezos converting the Washington Post into a right-wing paper. But it's not only their control of the media. These guys are now making huge campaign contributions. We're seeing it right now in the midterm elections, and we're going to see it more as these elections unfold. They have unlimited amounts of money and they are prepared to spend it to elect candidates who represent their interests and not the needs of working people. So when we are talking about saving democracy, it's not only the very serious threats uh of Donald Trump, that's very real. But it is also the need to fight back against the corrupt campaign finance system to end this disastrous Citizens United Supreme Court decision to get super PACs out of Democratic primaries. So that is enormously important and you know as part of that whole efforts uh I'm proud proud to tell you that our fighting oligarchy rallies have now taken place in 24 states all over this country including some very conservative states and well over 300,000 people have come out to these rallies and they're not just progressives they're not just Democrats they are independents and republicans as as well and furthermore when we talk about fighting oligarchy and dealing with mass massive income and wealth inequality. I think the time is long overdue for us to pass legislation that would impose a wealth tax on billionaires, a billionaire's wealth tax. And that's what I've introduced. And this bill would raise over $4 trillion in the next 10 years. And it would plow that money back into improving the lives of struggling working families. So at a time when the billionaires have are doing unbelievably well and working families are struggling, I think it's time to tax that wealth, put it back into the pockets of working families and improve their lives. So let me just briefly tell you what the legislation that I've introduced would do. First, it would provide every man, woman, and child in its first year uh with a $3,000 check in families earning $150,000 or less. So, if you're from a family, $150,000 or less, man, woman, and child, $3,000 direct payment, which will go a long way to help people buy the food they need, pay the rent, get the health care they need. Long overdue. Furthermore, we would provide very substantial sums of money into addressing the housing crisis, homelessness, uh the fact that so many of our people are spending half of their incomes on housing, and we would build with this money some 7 million units of low-income and affordable uh homes and apartments. Uh furthermore, at a time when many of our elderly people having a hard time uh getting the dental care they need, the vision that they need, the hearing aids that they need, we would expand Medicare to cover those basic needs. We would also provide universal child care in our country and make sure that no one, no family in America pays more than 7% of their limited incomes on child care. At a time when public schools are finding it very difficult to attract the teachers that they need, we would make certain that no teacher in America earns less than $60,000, $60,000 a year. We would make sure that seniors and people with disabilities receive the home health care that they need through Medicaid. And we would prevent 15 million Americans from losing health care by repealing Trump's $1.1 trillion cut to Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act. The point here is that the billionaires have so much money that a kind of modest tax on their wealth could go a long long way to buttress up the programs that working families, low-income people desperately need. as well as in the first year put a check of $3,000 into the pockets of every man, woman, and child. And I got to tell you, you know, I know that many of the media and many of the politicians, they just worry so much about our billionaire friends who fund them every day. Well, despite this tax, uh I'm happy to tell you that Mr. Musk and Mr. Bezos and Mr. Zuckerberg and Mr. Ellison and all the other multi-multibillionaires would still have a few hundred billion dollars left uh to feed their families. So, we're not going to put them out on the streets. Um furthermore, I think what we need to do uh is uh address the very serious threat of AI and robotics. This is an issue that I have got more and more involved in as I speak to people all across this country. Um, and we have talked to some of the leading experts in America who understand the economics of AI and robotics. Uh, who understand the existential threat that these technologies face. I mean, just today, just literally today, it was announced that Jeff Bezos, the head of Amazon, not only wants to get rid of all of his warehouse workers and replace them with robots, he is setting up a hundred billion dollar fund or program uh to try to eliminate human beings, workers in factories and warehouses, not only in America, all over the world. So his dream is that you're going to have robots uh do all of the manufacturing and warehouse work uh in this country. Uh but it is not just the the threat the very legitimate threat that we're going to be losing tens of millions of jobs in the next decade. And it's not only blue collar jobs, it's uh white collar jobs. Uh many young people graduating uh college right now are finding it very very difficult to get entry. uh entry level work uh that they need. Uh but I'll tell you something else. Uh it is as important as the economic issue is uh as important uh as the privacy issue is and there's real fears about what AI can do in sweeping up all kinds of information about us. as as much as I fear about what it does to democracy and our political system uh in giving all kinds of information to powerful special interest who can use it to um uh attack democrat the foundations of American democracy. There's something else out there that we should worry about and that is you know uh what used to be science fiction. Oh my god, the robots and the computers are going to operate independently of human beings. That's a good science fiction film. Well, you know what? Some of the most knowledgeable people in the world right now, people who have helped build uh the foundations of artificial intelligence, people have received Nobel prizes for their work in physics etc. They now believe that there is a possibility that as AI advances and becomes smarter if you like than human beings that AI can become independent of human control with the possibility of cat cataclysmic uh impacts. So needless to say this is an issue uh that we have got to address. It's an issue that Congress is barely aware of. They're dealing dibbling around the edges. But the fundamental issues of what this means economically, what it means politically, what it means existentially, what it means to the mental health of our kids who increasingly are being addicted to these AI agents. Uh that discussion has not even begun in a significant way. And that's why I will be introducing next week uh legislation calling for a moratorium on the construction of data centers in America. And we do that not only because data centers uh are utilizing an enormous amount of electricity and water resources driving up electric rates but we need to slow this process down. We need to work with China and countries all over the world to get a handle on the implications of AI. So that is an issue we're going to need everybody to be involved in. Bottom line here is that AI and robotics are not unto themselves evil technologies. But when they are being pushed by the wealthiest people on earth, Musk, Bezos, uh, Ellison and others whose goal is simply to get much much richer and more powerful. We have got to say, excuse me, slow it down. We want these technologies to work for working people, for ordinary Americans, and not just for the very very rich. So there is a lot of other stuff that's going on. You got a war in Iran, etc., etc. But I just did want to uh say a few words uh uh about some of the issues uh that we are working on and uh I thank you very much uh for being with me today. Take care.

Were the accelerationists right? The Trump administration is laying bare to anyone with a brain the brutishness of the US empire with Trump's threats over Greenland and vulgar displays of military power and utter disregard and contempt for the golden calf of "international law" in its attacks on Venezuela, Iran, and potentially Cuba. NATO is effectively bunk after trust has been fundamentally undermined and no NATO countries have offered meaningful assistance to the US in its war of aggression against Iran; with multiple parties condemning US and Israeli actions in the ME and even the real possibility of the removal of US military bases on the European continent. Canada and Europe are looking to make stronger economic commitments with China and Russia to fill the gap left by the United States. The petrodollar is careening towards implosion with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz with no off-ramp in sight as Israel poisons peace talks at every step. China is in a position to usher the world into the age of electric vehicles and green energy storage centered around industrial-sized batteries to fill the gap left by major disruptions to oil processing and distribution. More and more people are realizing that the Epstein class includes Donald Trump himself and that full disclosure of all files would unironically end numerous governments in various countries. Israel appears to be holding the reigns over the US empire as it commits atrocity after atrocity in its quest for expansion and the creation of "Greater Israel."

But a U.S. intelligence report, assembled prior to the events of early January, which was shown to Trump a week before the start of the war, concluded that Pahlavi lacked a sufficient network inside the country to lead an overthrow of the regime. “They never took him that seriously,” Vali Nasr, a professor at Johns Hopkins, said of the Administration. “There’s a difference between having an organization on the ground versus just having people who like you. If you’re going to help change a regime, you have to have a ground game.” Trump and his aides began referring to Pahlavi as the “loser prince.”https://www.newyorker.com/news/the-lede/the-distant-promise-of-irans-would-be-kingFucking kek

Over the years, many people have doubted whether Frank was guilty of the crime. But there’s one person who believes the right person was convicted, and that’s Mary’s namesake—her grand-niece, Mary Phagan-Kean.
“It won’t go away,” Phagan-Kean told CBS46 Special Assignment reporter Sally Sears. She says she learned of her family’s history when she was 13—the same age Mary Phagan was when she was murdered.
“My teacher Mr. Henry said, are you, by chance, related to that little girl that was murdered in Atlanta?” Phagan-Kean says. She took the question right to her father. “Is it true there’s another Mary Phagan? He stood back, white as he could be. And he said ‘who told you that? You go back to Mr. Henry, say you are related,” she explains.
The infamous trial and later lynching of Leo Frank are captured in the neat files in her bedroom. Yet a century of doubt about Frank’s guilt is here, too, and in the Georgia archives where the Leo Frank story lives on. The archives hold photographs the New York Times staged but never published, showing an alternate theory of the murder. The staging shows a model of Mary, pushed down a hole into the basement, knocked unconscious. In this theory, Mary is attacked and strangled by Leo Frank’s accomplice Jim Conley, who was the star witness against Frank.
Mary Phagan-Kean recoils from the photos. Convinced of Leo Frank’s guilt, she wondered if her own research into the case was worth publishing. “I have her DNA in me. When I have questions about it, I’ll go to Mary’s grave and ask if I should get involved. And I always receive a sign that tells me yes,” she says.
Phagan-Kean’s confidence has led her to protest the District Attorney’s decision to re-examine the case. “It would be very sad if they exonerate Leo Frank without the Phagan family involvement. But then I will push the world to know we were not involved in it,” she explains.
>>2750511>I don't understand what ICE is supposed to be doing at airports? Like…illegals can't even get American passports so the only reason they'd be at an airport is if they're leaving the country or just entering, in which case they can just claim a tourist visa. They're Trump's personal brownshirts. In any case where a normal government institution or agency would be incapable of doing its job (because funding is suspended, for example) ICE will be brought in to do it instead. Both as a gesture of defiance from Trump ("Look how little I care, I can just replace anyone I want with ICE!") and a way to assume more personal control over aspects of American life.
This could also be a trial run to ICE being at polling places come midterms. Trump is genuinely panicking about the midterms (hence his pushing the SAVE act relentlessly) so he's going to try anything, up to and including ICE pulling anyone brown out of line to "check their citizenship".
Mentally I'm in a place where I'm preparing myself to speak up and get between ICE and whoever they try to harass when I go to vote, though I'm unsure how active they'd be out here given it seems they've got a recruiting crisis.
Even if you don't plan on voting, I'd like to ask any other American anons on this board to watching polling places for ICE activity. They're going to try something and you might be the only thing standing between an innocent person being snatched away to some concentration camp.

>Israel Thought It Could Spur Rebellion Inside Iran. That Hasn’t Happened.President Trump’s hopes that an Israeli plan to ignite an internal uprising against Iran’s theocratic government could bring the war to a swift end have so far been dashed.
As the United States and Israel prepared to go to war with Iran, the head of Mossad, Israel’s foreign intelligence service, went to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a plan.
Within days of the war’s beginning, said David Barnea, the Mossad chief, his service would likely be able to galvanize the Iranian opposition — igniting riots and other acts of rebellion that could even lead to the collapse of Iran’s government. Mr. Barnea also presented the proposal to senior Trump administration officials during a visit to Washington in mid-January.
Mr. Netanyahu adopted the plan. Despite doubts about its viability among senior American officials and some officials in other Israeli intelligence agencies, both he and President Trump seemed to embrace an optimistic outlook. Killing Iran’s leaders at the outset of the conflict, followed by a series of intelligence operations intended to encourage regime change, they thought, could lead to a mass uprising that might bring about a swift end to the war.
“Take over your government: It will be yours to take,” Mr. Trump told Iranians in his initial address at the war’s start, after saying they should first seek shelter from the bombing.
Three weeks into the war, an Iranian uprising has not yet materialized. American and Israeli intelligence assessments have concluded that the theocratic Iranian government is weakened but intact, and that widespread fear of Iran’s military and police forces has dampened prospects both for nascent rebellion in the country and for ethnic militias outside of Iran to launch cross-border incursions.
The belief that Israel and the United States could help instigate widespread revolt was a foundational flaw in the preparations for a war that has spread across the Middle East. Instead of imploding from within, Iran’s government has dug in and escalated the conflict, striking blows and counterblows against military bases, cities, ships in the Persian Gulf, and against vulnerable oil and gas installations.
This account is based on interviews with more than a dozen current and former American, Israeli and other foreign officials, most of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss national security and intelligence issues during a war. The New York Times interviewed officials with a variety of views on the likelihood of an uprising.
Since Mr. Trump’s first speech, American officials have largely abandoned speaking publicly about the prospects for revolt inside of Iran, yet some remain hopeful that one could materialize. Though his rhetoric has become more tempered, Mr. Netanyahu still says the American and Israeli air campaign will be aided by forces on the ground.
“You can’t do revolutions from the air,” he said during a news conference on Thursday. He added: “There has to be a ground component as well. There are many possibilities for this ground component, and I take the liberty of not sharing with you all those possibilities.”
Mr. Netanyahu also added that “it is too early to tell if the Iranian people will exploit the conditions we are creating for them to take to the streets. I hope that will be the case. We are working toward that end, but ultimately, it will depend only on them.”
Behind the scenes, however, Mr. Netanyahu has expressed frustration that Mossad’s promises to foment revolt in Iran have not materialized. In one security meeting days after the war began, the prime minister vented that Mr. Trump might decide to end the war any day and that Mossad’s operations had yet to bear fruit.
In the run-up to the war, current and former American and Israeli officials said, Mr. Netanyahu invoked Mossad’s optimism about a possibility of an Iranian uprising to help convince Mr. Trump that bringing about the collapse of the Iranian government was a realistic goal.
Many senior American officials, as well as intelligence analysts at the Israel Defense Forces military intelligence agency, AMAN, viewed the Israeli plan for a mass uprising during the conflict with skepticism. U.S. military leaders told Mr. Trump that Iranians would not come out to protest while the U.S. and Israel were dropping bombs. Intelligence officials had assessed that the possibility of a mass uprising threatening the theocratic government were low, and doubted that the U.S.-Israeli attack would ignite any kind of civil war.
The White House did not respond to a request for comment. But a senior administration official noted that in Mr. Trump’s initial remarks after the beginning of the war he told Iranians to remain in their homes and urged them to take to the streets only after the air campaign was over.
“When we are finished, take over your government,” Mr. Trump said at the time.
Nate Swanson, a former State Department and White House official who was on the Trump administration’s Iran negotiating team led by Steve Witkoff until July, said he had never seen a “serious plan” to promote an uprising in Iran within the U.S. government in his many years working on Iran policy.
“A lot of protesters are not coming into the street because they’ll get shot,” said Mr. Swanson, now at the Atlantic Council. “They’re going to get slaughtered. That’s one thing. But the second thing is that there’s a good chunk of people who just want a better life, and they’re just sidelined right now. They don’t like the regime, but they don’t want to die opposing it. That 60 percent is going to stay home.”
He added, “You still have fervent anti-regime folks, but they’re not armed, and they’re not bringing the majority of the population into the streets.”
Mr. Trump appeared to have arrived at the same conclusion two weeks into the war. On March 12, he noted that Iran has security forces in the streets “machine-gunning people down if they want to protest.”
“So I really think that’s a big hurdle to climb for people that don’t have weapons,” he said on Fox News Radio. “I think that’s a very big hurdle. So it’ll happen, but it probably will be maybe not immediately.”
The Kurdish Option
While many of the specifics of Mossad’s plans remain secret, one element included supporting an invasion by Iranian Kurdish militia groups based in northern Iraq.
Mossad has longstanding ties with Kurdish groups, and American officials have said that both the C.I.A. and Mossad have given arms and other support to Kurdish forces in recent years. The C.I.A. had existing authorities to support Iranian Kurdish fighters, and had provided arms and advice well before the current war.
During the first days of the war, Israeli jets and bombers pounded Iranian military and police targets in northwest Iran in part to help pave the way for the Kurdish forces.
During a telephone briefing on March 4, an Israeli military spokesman was asked whether Israel was carrying out intense bombings in western Iran to help a Kurdish invasion. The spokesman, Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani, said, “We’ve been operating very heavily in western Iran to degrade the Iranian regime’s capabilities and to open up the way to Tehran, and to create freedom of operations. That’s been our focus there.”
But American officials are no longer enthusiastic about their idea from well before the war of using the Kurds as a proxy force, a shift that has created tension with their Israeli counterparts.
A week into the war, on March 7, Mr. Trump said he had explicitly told Kurdish leaders not to send militias into the country. “I don’t want the Kurds going in,” he told reporters. “I don’t want to see the Kurds get hurt, get killed.”
Soon after reports emerged that Kurdish militias might join the campaign, Bafel Talabani, the president of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, one of the main Iraqi Kurdish political parties, said in an interview on Fox News that no such plans were in the works. A Kurdish advance, he added, might have the opposite of its intended effect.
“You could argue that that’s actually a detriment,” he said, adding that Iranians are very nationalistic. “I believe if they fear that Kurds coming in from elsewhere will cause a split or a splintering of their country, this may actually unify the people against this separatist movement.”
Turkey has warned the Trump administration not to support any Kurdish action. The message was delivered by the Turkish foreign minister, Hakan Fidan, to Secretary of State Marco Rubio in a recent conversation, a Turkish diplomat said. Turkey, a NATO ally, has long been opposed to any operations by armed Kurds since it is grappling with Kurdish separatists inside its own borders.
The Uprising That Has Yet to Come
American officials briefed on intelligence assessments before the war said the C.I.A. evaluated a variety of possible developments inside Iran once the conflict began. Intelligence agencies considered a full collapse of the Iranian government to be a relatively unlikely outcome.
Other U.S. officials familiar with the intelligence said that even when the government is under pressure, as it was during mass protests in the country in January in which thousands of protesters were killed, it managed to quell uprisings relatively quickly.
The American intelligence assessments have suggested that armed elements of the Iranian government could turn on one another, or take action that might spark a civil war. But those factions are more likely to back rival groups of religious leaders, rather than represent any sort of democratic movement, the reports concluded.
The most likely outcome, however, was that hard-line elements of the existing government would maintain control over the levers of power, the reports said.
A spokeswoman for the C.I.A. declined to comment. The Mossad and the I.D.F. declined to comment
Israeli intelligence agencies have long examined the possibility of instigating revolt inside Iran as its own operation or shortly after the beginning of a military campaign, but until very recently dismissed the prospects.
As Israel’s main service responsible for foreign operations, Mossad was in charge of the planning.
Shahar Koifman, a former head of the Iran desk at the I.D.F.’s Military Intelligence Research Division, said Israel had explored various ideas to try to undermine or topple the Iranian government, but that in his opinion they were doomed to fail from the start. He said he did not believe that bringing down the Iranian government was an achievable goal of the current conflict.
Mr. Barnea’s predecessor at Mossad, Yossi Cohen, decided that trying to foment rebellion inside Iran was a waste of time and ordered that the resources devoted to the matter be reduced to a minimum. During Mr. Cohen’s tenure, which ended in 2021, Mossad calculated how many of the country’s citizens would need to participate in protests for them to truly threaten the Iranian government, comparing the estimates to the size of actual protests since the 1979 Iranian revolution.
“We wondered if we could bridge this gap,” Mr. Cohen said in 2018, “and we came to the conclusion that we couldn’t.”
Instead, Mossad’s strategy during that period was to try to weaken the government until it essentially surrendered to Israeli and American demands — using a combination of crippling economic sanctions and operations to assassinate Iranian nuclear scientists and military leaders and sabotage nuclear facilities.
Over the past year, as the prospect of Israeli military action against Iran became more likely, Mr. Barnea reversed Mossad’s approach, devoting the agency’s resources to plans that could lead to toppling the government in Tehran in the event of a war.
In recent months, according to officials, Mr. Barnea came to believe that Mossad could potentially begin igniting riots around Iran after several days of intense Israeli and American airstrikes and the assassination of senior Iranian leaders.
After the strikes and assassinations of the war’s earliest days, the uprising did not come. But Israeli officials say they have yet to give up hope.
“I think that we need boots on the ground, but they’ve got to be Iranian boots,” Yechiel Leiter, Israel’s ambassador to the United States, said on CNN on Sunday, when asked how the war will end. “And I think they’re coming.”

>>2750514>Frank argued in court that the many Black witnesses should not be believed—simply because they were Black—and that “negro testimony” was by definition inferior and unreliable. Further, Frank argued to the all-white jury of his peers that murder, rape, androbbery were “negro crimes” and thus, he, a white man, could not have committed the murder of Mary Phagan. (Pages 124-136.)
>• Atlanta police did not “frame” Frank; nor did they arrest him because he was Jewish. Both private detective agencies hired by Frank concluded that Leo Frank was the murderer of Mary Phagan.>Another attorney hired by Frank similarly found and stated openly that his client was guilty. (Pages 31-34, 47-48, 50-52, 65-66, 91 note 187, 147, 247.)
>Jim Conley was the second Black person that Leo Frank publicly accused of Mary Phagan’s murder. Newt Lee, the night watchman who found the body in the factory basement, was actively targeted by Frank’s hired private eyes. They actually planted a blood-soaked shirt in the innocent Black man’s home, and then told the police where they could find that damning “evidence.” At the same time, Frank altered Lee’s work time card in order to make Lee the prime suspect. (Pages 35-44.) Frank’s attorney, the famous Luther Rosser, had this exchange in open court with the medical expert, related to the planted bloody shirt:<Rosser: The shirt had the odor of blood on it when you first got it, didn’t it?<A. Yes.<Rosser: Then, wouldn’t the odor of blood have killed the odor of “uyghur”?<A. No.<Rosser: Then, if a uyghur had just put on his shirt and had taken it off in an instant, your nosewould “get him”?
<A. Have you ever smelled a negro, Mr. Rosser?Rosser: More than you ever smelled. I was smelling them before you were born. [Pages 134-135.]
>• Leo Frank’s own Black cook, Mrs. Minola McKnight, signed an affidavit saying she overheard Frank’s wife and mother discussing how Frank had confessed to the murder. She (and her husband) also gave damning evidence of Frank’s movements on the day of the murder that conflicted with Frank’s already weak alibi. >After Frank’s conviction powerful Jewish leaders rallied to his defense, but in private documents they admitted that they could not stand Frank’s personality and that he probably was guilty. Albert Lasker ran the top advertising agency in America and financed Frank’s legal defense. His private view of the B’nai B’rith president was harsh and disturbing: “It was very hard for us to be fair to him [Frank], he impressed us as a sexual pervert. (Pages 216-217, 254-255, 322.)>• Frank’s main attorney admitted in open court that Frank’s lewd behavior was “a sign that we are getting more broad-minded…[D]eliver me from one of these prudish fellows that never looks at a girl and never puts his hands on her….” So powerful was the testimony of twenty adolescent girls about Leo Frank’s sexual harassment at the factory that none of his attorneys dared to cross-examine them—not one. (Pages 107-123.)>• Frank supporters tried to hire a Black woman to slip Conley some poison. She identified the plotters in open court. (Pages 262-263.)>• Frank was convicted in Atlanta, but most of the 13 appeals occurred outside Atlanta, and every one of those courts—including the US Supreme Court—upheld the conviction. (Pages 276-277, 282.) Neither of them answered my post btw

Just learned that the local youth Democrats picked up my story related to the case, and I was brought up at a gubernatorial candidate’s conference last night as an example of the repression the left faces in Florida. I don’t have all the details—this comes from a friend of a friend—but it’s clear word is spreading organically.
The good work continues to get noticed. Every week, our DSA chapter feeds 50 to 100 people in a downtown park. We’re building a working group to clean up trash in our parks and trails. We’'ve begun talking with small business owners about how the forced relocation of the city’s main homeless shelter is a gentrification play—designed to raise land values, hike rents, and drive them out.
Our chapter is small in number, but we are fierce. More HOUDINI Collective members are joining the DSA locally and across the country. We are growing. They are shrinking. You can get involved in your local sphere just like we are, it's everyone's fight. There is so much work to be done.
The narrative of the right as "defenders of free speech" has been proven blatantly false. The narrative of the right as a "counterculture" has been proven blatantly false. Those who do not allow freedom of speech cannot, in any real sense, create culture—nor a new vision for a better America.
This is our fight to win. We will not be silenced.
>>2750732Nutrition is important, but genetics still play a major factor to height potential. The Chinese height will plateau at that point. There are populations in African with childhood malnourishment but still end up taller than the average Americans.

>>2750779thats kinda cool even if dems are cucks and class traitors. getting more attention on your magazine is good. you should take advantage of the publicity as much as you can.
>>2750784the genetic angle isn't really about "genetic potential" so much as eugenics. any race can become giants if only the tallest individuals get to breed. that's what happened with african tribes, they massively fetishize height as a status symbol in their culture which is how they get so tall despite malnutrition. japanese COULD get taller if Japanese women cared about height enough to turn it into a reproductive bottleneck, but for whatever reason certain cultures just don't care about height as much as others.

>>2750789I'm not convinced natural selection was the main factor to determining genetic potential for height due to females historically lacking rights and consent before the 20th century (might makes right in nature). There's a lot of "randomness" in evolution from radiation-induced mutations, for example from cosmic and solar radiation striking DNA strands which can generate heritable mutations, some changes dominant enough where even one human affected can affect the entire incestuous tribe or village.

>>2748115 I think we're heading towards a Balkanization scenario. maybe Balkanization-lite, or something more complicated than there's any direct historical comparison for, but nonetheless this is already the trajectory the US has been on for like a decade at this point and Trump 2 has accelerated it like nothing I could have imagined, mainly because it's all come off as insanely desperate and shortsighted much like the Iran war itself. and much like the Iran war, which is being done because it's now or never for the US to try to kneecap the ascending rivals (Russia and especially China) to its global hegemony in order to keep its dying empire on life support awhile longer, all the moves that the regime has been making domestically come off to me as some losing the mandate of heaven shit where the US is no longer able to maintain a hegemony as it's done in the past through appeasement and sharing the spoils of imperialism with an increasingly backwards mass of increasingly exploited and immiserated Americans.
for years now I've been expecting things to get to this point where even the milquetoast shitlibs in power in the blue states are made into scapegoats for a regime that is increasingly not just at odds with its own subjects in the usual contradictory sorts of ways that are inherent to the bourgeois state, but have reached a point of actively being at war with American citizens. the fact that the Iran war is turning out this badly in the midst of all this is one of the worst possible things that could happen to the regime and the US ruling class as a whole because we're currently in a situation that is sort of like a combination of fascism and a dying empire where the play is for the ruling class to try to consolidate power by manufacturing nationalistic consensus to engage in wars of aggression, but this is clearly not working out at all, and so the US in the usual fashion that seems to be the modus operandi for the regime right now is flailing even more desperately and trying to solve the problem with the blunt stupid application of force. with Iran it may end up backfiring harder than any career politicians and deep state spooks could have ever imagined by making Iran more hardliner, pursuing nuclear weapons and refusing to stop its economic warfare until the US is ousted from the region; we may end up seeing the same thing happen domestically where the US govt trying to impose an increasingly naked authoritarianism onto its own subjects continues to push former centrist libs further to the left because it's simply become obviously in their own self-interests to do so.
this is also on top of all the economic instability right now, the shift of geopolitical power and historic upending of western imperial hegemony. we really haven't seen anything yet, shit is going to get fucking crazy but after all the terror and carnage we might end up living through a really fucking cool period of history. or perhaps we'll all get sent to the camps. we'll see what happens.

I think that’ll be a tether that keeps dragging them to the right after disappointments if only because they recognize the other side as actively despising them at worst or seeing them as useful tools for other struggles at best.yep. I don't know how Dems constantly fail to appeal to men's issues when it's such a no brainer. particularly solving male loneliness is probably the second biggest male issue for young men after affordability. i know many dems will just say "men need to be taught to respect women and be 6 ft" or whatever while completely ignoring the issue, but it's just expanding every year as more men become alienated from "social" life and retreat from society. what happens to these men when they feel like outcasts in their own home country? they tend to lash out and vote far-right to own their perceived enemies. it's really not complex but I think dems are too prideful to admit their policies have been disastrous for men whom they perceive as a "privileged" class that deserve every bad thing that happens to them. it's an extremely out of touch perspective that infests the PMC leadership of the democratic party, and makes it oh so satisfying to watch them constantly lose even when it leads to (other) fascists getting elected.

>>2751060>How the fuck do solve male lonelyness politicalyIt's pretty easy actually. The current dating crisis is mostly economic and political. Women's standards haven't gone up, it's just men can't afford to meet the standards and women refuse to adjust to the current climate.
But at the same time, the lack of third places has made it increasingly difficult for men to even meet women (or other men) unless they're blessed by people inviting them to things. Like, I think a government that takes an active approach in fostering positive communities and providing incentives for people to socialize could go a long way to solving male loneliness.
In the past, governments focused on creating more married couples, but these days public events seemingly only exist for already-married people to go with their kids. I can't even go to anime cons anymore without being expected to navigate around a bunch of married people bringing their kids and just being there to consoom merch instead of meet fellow fans. There are like, no real events for adults to meet new people. I think this is actually a very important factor, our society has fully transitioned into a "rich get richer" culture when it comes to dating and even friendships. Events exist for those who already have someone, and if you don't well you're shit outta luck and also not welcome because your presence makes women uncomfortable.
Anyway if China was able to take an active approach in solving its loneliness epidemic there's no reason the US can't.

tech is a chud industry because it's largely fictitious speculative finance capital LARPing as computer science these days, that is all directly complicit in building the surveillance state Palantir NWO Torture Nexus, and that is extremely backwards and reactionary even by the usual standards of United States labor because the tech industry exploded in the 90s and this lead to a lot of right-libertarian sophistry proliferating within that sphere of people who mistakenly believed that the system works because it sometimes will temporarily reward lucky people who are in the right place at the right time to receive what is ultimately still a tiny fraction of the wealth their labor creates.
there are probably other industries that have a comparable status of being actual labor aristocracy and not the 1960s TWist meme sense of all AmeriKKKans being labor aristocrats, but I can't think of any others off the top of my head. maybe the "knowledge labor" industries in general although by my reckoning all of those are old and established enough to not have the same kind of distinct reactionary identity that tech has.

So you’re a young man growing up and you hear you’re privileged again and again, but chances are you don’t really have independence or a good paying job or what have you, and a lot of the people pushing that privilege discourse—in the news, in education—are women who ostensibly have some authority over you by virtue of you not being yet an adult. And while the private sector looks different, you don’t have that experience yet. So you grow up hearing “actually you got too much power” when you already feel powerless.
Just spit balling. There’s other things too. Like the impression the Left is just about serving other groups and so if you join it you have nothing to benefit from it.

one of the things about looksmaxing is no matter how hideous a woman is there's tons of gooners (chubby chasers etc) who lust after her features so that automatically makes her in a higher looks tier than you because SOMEONE more attractive than you will be willing to date her

I see a lot of blackpilling, which granted has a basis on reality. Trying to segregate which portion of society is to blame is pointless when they all are.
What if, instead of being depressed and yearning for the things you cannot get, you realize how that liberates you. Not in the Buddhist kind of suppression of desire but in the relief you get from social responsibility. You are not happy. You are not getting your due. Your part of whatever social contract anyone ever invoked to justify their due, isn't getting fulfilled.
So you don't have to either. Embrace anti-social behavior. Become a total psycho, enjoy hurting people who have what is denied to you by the systems and beliefs they subscribe to and enforce. Now you know that everyone deserves it, whatever you do, is justified.
Get yourself some caltrops and drop them behind the wheels of random cars when nobody is looking. Go to a park and drop some poison peanut butter balls as you take a stroll. Enjoy the heartbreak live, on a bench. Carry a superglue tube and plug random keyholes when nobody is around. Be creative, the world is your oyster if you live on a big city. One only has to take a bus and the slate is clean. Nobody knows or expects you.
Hurting people can be free and good for the soul, if done correctly.
Soon enough you'll build all the confidence and some of the skills you need to climb out of your social station. And best of all, when you do… you won't be a cucked "born anew" socialite. Burdened with all the self loathing "lessons" the average therapist would deploy to divert your grudges inwardly. You will know exactly what sort of snakes they all are, and exactly how much sympathy they deserve. None.
