> Be me
> Hanging out with my less radical comrade and his lib friend.
> Starts discussing capitalism with comrade because that's what we always do.
> Lib friend butts in and gives the usual lib response "Yeah I agree but isn't that a bit radical?"
> NeuronActivated.Jpeg
> *Long Yap Sesh about free healthcare, the state and workplace democracy.*
> Comrade starts talking to lib friend
> "Bluegrass is a great debator, I don't think I've seen him lose a single debate."
> This flatters me a bit, I never really thought I was that good of a debator, I really only have surface level knowledge about the topics I debate but I guess that's enough to be considered a master debator when you're debating libs.
And then everyone stood up and clapped their hands
Him name? Albert Einstein
I used to be decent but now I don't talk to people who disagree with me.
>>2755252Your actually right about it not being productive but debating random Nazis you meat onlune is a good way to pass time, it can either be entertaining or frustrating, like I once met some Iranian-American Twink who was talking about how we must bomb Iran and I was just eviscerating him and it was so fun but another time I met an asian white supremacist and hw called me (Im white) a race-traitor and he was so annoying.
>>2755240thats cool
I'd say im a good debater, although i usually prefer to have conversations with people instead of debate, since we actually reach something there.
In my experience it is ultra-rare that anybody cares to hear evidence for and against about anything. Disagreements are usually resolved by reference to hierarchy.
I'm above you so I am right, that sort of thing. Delivered as innuendo instead of explicitly if you want to be classy about it.
>>2755254Yeah framing a discussion as something one side can win does not help with truth-finding.
kill all debate addicts
Not really because I just get mad about how cruel people are tbh
>>2755240I would immediately respond to the "Yeah I agree but isn't that a bit radical?" with the good ol' capital L Liberalism itself was once considered radical and an impossibility before and after the French Revolutionary wars. Not sure if that would make me good for these smaller "debates" though.
You are all absolute cowards. I would and could do anything to you.
>free health care
Which is the lib again?
>>2755240That's when you humbly say oh I don't like debating I just want a discussion.
>>2755240I mostly advise people who disagree with me to go kill themselves so probably not
>>2755353the only way to truely win a debate is to kill the person youre debating
i always use the columbo tactic. i pretend to not know much about politics and just ask questions so the other person can reach a conclusion on their own
>>2755240I'm pretty good at debating cause my father is kinda an IRL debate addict
and well, Im articulate and passionate enough about politics that people dont challenge me much, so its more often discussion, some even ask unprompted for my opinion or perspective on things happenings (iran war for example) which is pretty flattering I admit
