How do people get pdfs of children's books these days?

Trying to get The Very Hungry Caterpillar and what I've found so far is an MS Paint simplified version, the original but "scanned" via camera in low light, and a bunch of rubrics for teachers about teaching kids with it; the last one probably being useful, but dang I didn't expect such a classic to be hard to find a clean scan of.
