The abolition of gender could mean either the end of associations between genitalia and behaviors or the shattering of "male" and "female" into uncountable hyperspecific microgenders. I'm happy with either outcome, but as technology advances and it becomes possible to switch fully between male and female reproductive organs it's inevitable that gender will fade away like class and the state.
