I was called to court for speeding 70mph over the speed limit and I said "Your honor, I looked into the history of speed limit signs, the reason the sign says "Speed Limit 25 Miles" and not "Speed Limit 25 Miles PER HOUR" is because back when speed limit signs were invented it was constitutionally unacceptable to tell someone what speed they can go because it counts as kidnapping by limiting their constitutional right to travel. Therefore the sign could therefore just as well mean "25 Miles PER SECOND"" and he had no choice but to agree with me and now it's legal for us all to go 100mph over the speed limit. It should be on the news soon.
