insofar as instead of being a pick me and saying that autistics "interests" and sensitivities are actually normal and wishing to abolish themselves as an identity, they embrace their position as othered to emphasize that this label was placed not upon themselves but by the majority of society, to raise awareness of this violent and exclusionary labeling. Demanding the normies take care for your sensitivities is the most powerful thing you can do instead of labeling one's condition as normal and having them ignore your demands.
