It's became a subset of furry pretty much, like the Avali from Starbound modding, or Yinglets from [looks it up] oh [wikipedia](https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/yinglet) doesn't mention where yinglets from from. [looks it up on startpage] They're from Out-of-Placers webcomic.

Like It's still very invested in it's source material, I see people on fedi organize watching parties now and then. But just it's not the Brony Social Phenomenon anymore, just "here's by blorbos from the horse show."

I think Uma Musume reminded people that were bronies about it so there's been a resurgence, but like it's always been pretty steadily present.

4chan as a whole is pretty dead.

One of them famously went postal a few years back. If I remember right he was also around the age to grow up with bronyism as a kid, so clearly some of those kids stuck around. Not enough to sustain the relevance it had on internet culture though.

Same thing that happened to the rest of the internet; we got caught up in the Eternal 2016. Every pony site is now predictably either an /mlpol/ chud colony or a trans/furry/autist radlib colony. Pony is for the most part secondary to culture wars.

i tried watching the show as a kid but i never had access to the hub channel because my family need to pay for it and we didn’t have money so at the time i could either watch mlp speed paints or watch it while visiting my mom’s place. but whenever I DO get around to watching the show though, my mom either erases all the progress i made so far to watch the show, or i couldnt get past the first two episodes for some reason. tried watching it again at 13 years old and i got bored quickly so i just stuck to jojo for now but now that im an adult. im reconsidering on watching it and giving it a chance since they now have all the 9 seasons on tubi. ofc i made a couple ocs back in 2017 tho
