Why did communists abandon wearing badass military uniforms in favor of bourgeois suit and ties?!?!
(I don’t know know if it is accurate to refer to Mao Suits and Stalin Tunic’s and “Military uniforms” so if I’m wrong please shut the fuck up because you know what I mean)
What a lame downgrade, I know that this is just opinion and what someone wears is nowhere near as consequential as they’re actions but still, suits just look so lame compared to military uniforms and it’s such a shame that they have been abandoned, yeah sometimes a leader will wear on there is a military parade or something but still the only communist leader who is seen wearing a military uniform more than they are not is Kim Jong Un. But still I think I know why they stopped and it’s because fascist dictators also wore military uniforms like for example Hitler, ᴉuᴉlossnW, or Ion Antonescu, so the visuals of the military uniform helped libs in their effort to try to conflate communism and fascism so in order to appeal to the west NiKKKita KKKhruSShchev decided to dress like a CEO causing military uniform to stop being worn in Non-Maoist communist countries with a few notable exceptions.
>>726431probably because they stopped serving in any military force
>>726431>badass military uniformsIts tacky and bad press.
>>726437That’s also true, not everyone served in a military
I miss when communists would wear assless fursuits. Made for easy access and increased flexibility
>>726431here's a rare xi in uniform and mao suit
even rarer putin in uniform
The abandonment of military uniforms marks the abandonment of socialism.
Once you understand why they started wearing it, you will understand why they stopped. Lenin did not wear a military uniform. The first communist, the one who made it popular, the hero of all working people, the one every opportunist wanted to imitate, was Trotsky. Now that nobody remembers him and nobody wants to imitate his success, they no longer dress like him.
>>726494icepick yourself like your traitor
hero retard
>>726522trotsky never betrayed anyone
>>726494>>726522>>726532thesis: Lenin's TRVE heir was stalin! death to trotsky!!!
antithesis: Lenin's TRVE heir was trotsky! read lenin's testament!
synthesis: Lenin's TRVE heir was Yakov Sverdlov, who was the perfect synthesis of Trotsky and Stalin, but he got sick and died even before Lenin did.
>>726494it was boroshilov, actually
>>726431because it would be performative and stolen valor to wear a military uniform for a peace time politician
trump for example doesn't play dress up, his only two outfits are suits and golf clothes because that's his "job"
Nothing wrong with wearing a suit. Suits are uniforms, too. Every uniform has a purpose and a message. Wearing a military uniform while not in war is just LARP. Wearing a suit while in war is also not appropriate.
>>726602i prefer military suits over suits honestly, maybe because they are different than standard.
>>726604I like both I guess. Lenin's drip was unreal, so was Che's.
>>726606yea, but Lenin's suit was not the same style as the generic suit and tie of today, liberalism wants leaders to be cookie cutter tecnocrats that just do what the rich ask for the economy, down to have the same style of suits, there are dozens of suit styles yet just one is the "president" shit.
>>726606>I like both I guess. Lenin's drip was unreal, so was Che's.Lenin and Xi were/are the only communists who look good in suits.
>>726617He went to a military academy for high school, that’s different. But I’m also surprised Trump hasn’t donned a military uniform yet. Republicans love to larp as soldiers and think about all of the campaign ads we’ve seen of republicans larping like special forces

#1 I’m not punk #2 I don’t care about aesthetics I literally said “I know that this is just opinion and what someone wears is nowhere near as consequential as they’re actions”
The only reason why I’m complaining about it is because this website is the only place where you can vent about what is unimportant
#3 I feel like you are just negative, I see you a lot Glownonymous and you always disagree with whatever the Op says even if it contradicts what you previously said
>>726649>>726654OP is not against uniformity, the point of UACAG is just to promote uniformity towards anarchists, suits are only one way of it, hence the name Uniformed Anarchist-Communist Agitation Group. Then again the propaganda isn't targeted towards OP since he doesn't appear to be an anarchist-communist.
Still not great to hate on suits in an era of liberal protesters looking like shit misrepresenting whatever label they appropriate.

Do y'all just go out and slap one of these together for every strawman you come up with? Regardless, I'm a prole, you can keep your uncomfortable suits and impress the bosses yourselves, I need function and comfort to keep doin your work for you.
>>726737I'm still not sold, unless you got an affordable way to suit everyone up.
