You can get a usable acoustic for less than 200 bucks american or an electric for the same price and a good amp for forty to eighty. After that, you're at least started up. Also, if you're spending money on hearing aids as a musician, you already fucked up, if you're doing it as a bedroom guitarist you're just an idiot.
