Artists outside of twitter don't give a shit beyond the above, because unlike twitter artists they don't see it as competition. Because they have a realistic idea of what people that like their art want out of art.
Whereas Twitter artists just see an algorithm and can't concieve of their art as anything but part of that algorithm, which AI is better at.

The problem with AI is it's not good at anything but it's being put in charge of critical functions so that nobody will be held accountable when problems happen. Also it uses an ungodly amount of water and electricity because the algorithms are very dumb and just brute force everything.

In my case, it's because enthusiasts of these technologies flood art-focused websites with the results of their prompts. Their high productivity allows them to bury a myriad of individual styles (good or bad art, it doesn't matter) under one gigantic, relatively homogeneous pile. Every place that opens its gates to these guys turns into the same thing.
