As a kid I was raised liberally and my parents taught me that “Republicans oppose abortion because they are sexist and they think that the bible says that life begins at conception.” But that’s only the tip of the iceberg, misogyny and religious extremism is only the reason why the Republican base (meaning the inbred, Lumpen, maga, hogs who ravage the American south) oppose abortion. The reason why the conservative elite opposes abortion is pure profit-motive because more kids will drive working people into more debt so the elite can have more wage slaves. Also if you’re one of those leftists who also opposes abortion then you can go fuck yourself 🖕
