1: Christ did in fact die for YOUR sins and everyone's sins but what does sin mean? Do you think sin is just doing le'bad? To what end or on what basis would God measure mortal debauchery to His own will? Makes no sense.

Sin means failure. Failure to carry out our divine will on Earth. Christ came along, God existing as man to feel for us, to experience as we do, and had a solution: He would purposely die on the cross, and all your failures past and present die on that cross with him.

It does. Because people still fail time and time again. The crucifixion did not eradicate sin as a possibility, it eradicated liability of that sin and you can give it to Christ. Think of it kinda like blood libel plus its not really a social credit score thing. Me giving my sins unto Christ does not mean I'm somehow worthy now to go to cosmic Costco and get a membership card…

It means through the sacrifice Christ created a conduit, a filter by which my foils can be cooked without me facing karmic debt. I am free to just reap the benefits of salvation aka things i want and need, without having to toil for it, without having to be worthy of it whether morally or "spiritually ready".

God gave us that option. That's all the crucifixion means. In fact he proved that's what it means by returning three days later. Even the wages of our sins as heavy as they are, couldn't keep the living Christ dead for more than three days.

That means no matter how bad you fuck up, we have a measuring stick of it isn't even a fraction of the power on the cross. Just trust the plan and trust that through Christ's actions on the cross, it'll take your pain and your missed opportunities and turn led into gold.
