not visual media but assassin creed 4 aged well despite not being mainly about pirates, and there's sid meier's pirates from 2004

i am yet to see though enough media about pirates but from the modern age, not the swash bucanners types i know but modern somali or burmese, or latin american pirates boarding inetrnational commercial vessels or kidnapping people for ransom
