Why is this board called "Siberia?"
I always wondered.
Reference to cereal experiment's rain obviously
In the Russian Empire and the USSR, there was a tradition of sending many of the guilty to forced labor in Siberia, because no one wanted to develop and improve the Siberian lands, even for a reward.
Siberia is where the tsar exiled criminals and political dissidents. it was infamous for being very easy to escape, since Lenin, Stalin, Sverdlov, and other prominent Bolsheviks kept getting exiled to Siberia then escaping.
It's where the anarchist were sent in the USSR.
