Laos is the most unpopular and least talked about communist country, nut just in regard to the media and the press but even here! We don’t even have a Laotian flag! I don’t even know what Laos is like geopolitically, I don’t know weather it’s really close to Russia and China like how Cuba and the DPRK are or if it’s cucked to America like Vietnam. I would of thought that the most bombed country on earth would come up more in political discourse.

I mean people barely talk about Vietnam too outside of its importance for the US.
Really it's more that the other three officially communist states have good reasons for people to talk about them. China is becoming the most powerful country in the world, Cuba has geopolitical relevance in the Americas, and NK is a lolcow.
Laos might be interesting to learn about. We could start a reading group or some shit.

It's a country that exists purely for drug smugglers to hide. I'm questioning whether their government even works. Also, their citizens are really happy. Avoiding stress is a virtue over there in their culture. Really poor country, and the Thai are very racist towards the Lao. But it's beautiful, one of the coolest countries you could go to. I believe they had a kingdom there, and it's history is intriguing. Laos has Chintanakan Mai, which is their "New Thinking". Better than Cambodia which is a Chinese vassal state.
