Have there been any theoretical texts linking Buddhism and Marxism? Both accept impermanence and that everything is constantly changing, and Buddhism seems to me to be a very materialistic religion because of this.

I know Buddhism claims pertain to describe the objective laws of the universe but that doesn't mean its Marxist. Marxism was in large part a critique of prior materialist philosophy as not being wholly materialist.

Also no OP religion isn't linked to Marxism because spirituality and politics are quite distinct in secular nation-states
