starting to understand why people are so anti-art and generally stupid. they literally refuse to read anything that does not recycle characters from a million dollar multimedia property but they want to pretend like they support independent creators ok
its so peaceful being a non-fiction reader seems like the fiction readers always in somesort of drama and have slightly more of a slop problem(not that nonfiction doesn't especially wrt to shitty pop history/science). Also the whole support independent creators as a way of reducing shitty made for mass appeal slop always came off as similar to people who think capitalism can be fixed by sufficiently glazing the petty bourgeois and trust busting monoplists.
What books have you read last year, OP?
>>741412>homecooked mealBetter analogy is when a 5 year old tries to make their parents "breakfast in bed" and it's just like gummy worms on burnt toast. It's very cute and endearing and I know their intentions are pure but I still ain't gonna eat that shit
couldnt disagree more with a post. fandom-ites are the most dedicated bootlicky shallow and corpo defending bloodsuckers ive witnessed. you could make an argument for those who just steal the character designs outright and claim it as their own but theyre a different type of problem where every one ive run into are the most illiterate fractured and somewhat delusional people ive run into. not to mention the antis of a specific company just being just a proxy "war" for whatever company slop they like
cant even say anything bc i am them. we're kind of sad really
>>741426last ones were
kappa by akutagawa
death of a salesman
the fox woman by merritt
100%'d grundrisse and wl&c
