Does OP think the userbase here are toddlers? The whole point of "privacy frontends" is to keep using a platform and stay hooked on it's content. Nitter lowers the consequences of browsing twitter, invidious lowers the consequences of browsing youtube, redlib lowers the consequences of browsing reddit. This keeps these platforms' soft power on the web even among those that would otherwise not trust it enough to use it directly.

Also telling that OP will shill privacy frontends yet call the reccomendation for something legitamately decoupled from centralized social media, to move on from it entirely, shilling.
