In detail what is your actual unironic opinion on Donald Trump?
Look we all know that none of us here like Donald Trump (At least I hope nobody here does, Jesus Christ) because as leftists we take it as a given that we all don’t like him which is true, but we never go into detail about our thoughts on him as a whole, I’ll start with mine.
In his first term Trump was horrendous and he only won with a corrupt electoral system and a corrupt party that ratfucked Bernie. The worst stuff he did in his first term was separating families, bombing shit, sanctioning shit, deregulating shit, and all of the other shit that every other president did, other than all of the social-murder and climate change deaths he caused the worst thing he ever did to his own people was his terrible covid response were he downplayed it so his billionaire friends could make more profits. I was in middle school during his first term so I found out about this later but I remember that most people where I lived didn’t like him and the media didn’t glaze him as much, also the only good thing he did in his first term was the North Korea thing which every liberal clowned on him for. Also I don’t really care that much about January 6th, obviously it was bad but only because of the intentions behind it, I don’t care about the constitution or the political system, if there was a left-wing January 6th that was successful then I wouldn’t mind.
But in his second term he was even worse, and I’m not even gonna explain why, however out of all of the shit he did I don’t even know how much he is even personally responsible for, he has dementia or something and he is basically being puppeteer by his cabinet.
As for my personal feelings about him he kinda ruined my life, you see I’m a young adult and his first term was when I was in middle school and ever since he was first elected I haven’t gone a day where I haven’t thought about him or heard of him once, however (Warning this is my feelings as a CisHetMoid in Amerikkka, I understand if you despise everything about him) I’m at least glad that he isn’t annoying as someone like Satanyahu or Elon Musk, when I see those guys speak I wanna punch my screen, but when I see Trump I can’t help but laugh because he is really fun to make fun of, this doesn’t excuse all of his genocides and social murders and I still wish he didn’t exist in the first place but still he is quite the character.
