If only Marx had been right and revolution was most likely in the more highly developed capitalist countries rather than the periphery. The USSR and China and Cuba and whatnot are good and all, but they never were in a position to dethrone capitalism globally. We have to make do with what we have, not what might have been. Take advantage of the class consciousness that exists and help build more. Agitate is already being handled by capitalism. Work on educating and organizing so we can stop this shit sooner rather than later. Don't give into doomer shit. We're at a world historic highi point for solidarity among the international proletariat. Organize the workers locally and get them to organize with the other workers in the supply chain. Go on strike for each other and share resources, material or informational.

I have to wonder how many of them are actually "people". So much of social media is dominated by bots and paid shills. I'm not saying it's 100% but it's enough to sway the public discourse.
I think the average person knows that Trump is evil and that the media is full of shit. It's not that they don't know what's happening, it's that they don't know what must be done in response. There's no solidarity, there's no strong labor movement, and liberal peaceful protesting has done nothing.
Luigi was exciting because it showed people there was another way, a way that worked and was massively popular. The issue now is that it's seen as a one-off.
