That's normal man. If you had a serious relationship, those neurons are pretty much hardwired for life due to the level of emotion evolved. Nothing you can do other than adapt how you respond to those memories and emotions. This is why I avoid people with a lot of prior relationships.
I think about my ex all the time and it's been 8 years. I think the general consensus from the thread is if you don't find someone new you won't be able to forget them.
