>>749604But ᴉuᴉlossnW was a socialist…
>>749620> Christcuck is more progressive and liberal than meHow?
>>749627i had topleft in mind the entire time i was taking this quiz, just goes to show how faulty it is
>>749633good if you know absolutely nothing about politics and think you're alt-right i guess
If you're not at the top-left progressive corner or bottom-left progressive corner you likely have a lot of contradictory beliefs.
>>749637 (me)
Also it just occured to me that making progressive and conservative it's own axis is probably an attempt to insist 🍔democrats can be progressive despite charting on the same top-right corner as 🍔republicans.
>>749636with the hegel favicon its hard not to love you buddy
>>749637Every human has contradictory beliefs. Every single one of them. If you dont think you have one its because you havent think of your beliefs too deeply
>>749639thanks i like philosophy. i forgive you for being albanian.
>>749634uh no? are you retarded? its absolutely useless at best, just a waste of time for polsci-brained morons who think you can place ideology on a scale, much less a compass
>>749642Every system of thought is contradictory, except for properly understood Marxism. Read Gramsci's What is Man.
>Everyone has the vague intuition that to make Catholicism a way of life is a mistake, because no one completely embraces Catholicism as a way of life even while declaring himself a Catholic. A strict Catholic who applied Catholic rules to every act of his life would appear as a monster; and this, when one thinks about it, is the strongest, most irrefutable criticism of Catholicism itself. >>749649This to applied to Marxism too dumbass, if we adopt pure Marx we would support AI slop and American imperialism which commodified traditional identities, like how Engels supported German imperialism against Central Euros which he saw as backward national identities. But we dont want to do that which is why everyone is a revisionist today (and the greatest of revisionists are Lenin and Mao…)
>>749642I try to keep them mapped out at least. I know I'm missing the tacit ones but I can tell from my big HTML document when there's glaring contradictions. That's landed me at corner left-libertarian pretty consistently whenever I take those tests despite not believing it's a good metric.
>>749637>>749656>i do online tests often to map out my ideologyjfc what the hell am i reading
retards will say autists are le revolutionary when theyre wasting their endless free time doing shit like this LMAO
>>749654communism isnt an ideology moron
>>749549I wish all Amerilards and children were banned from leftypol so we'd have fewer threads like this.
>>749656I can't imagine a bigger waste of time than doing these meaningless tests that mean nothing in practice other than how much you love ideology shopping. And you say you keep doing them multiple times? Fucking autismo.
Even scientists have subjective beliefs, the point is being able to leave them at the door when it's time to be objective, and knowing when it is time to be objective. Like at least half the questions these braindead tests include have nothing to do with proletarian struggle, by the way.
>>749647well if you struggle to define left/right like a fuckton of americans do its useful for that, per my previous post
>>749658unironically? debatable. i mostly filled this out for the fuck of it
>>749663Nice to assume that only Americans and children are the cause of all faux pas.
>>749604“Fascist” nowadays is just slur for “anyone who doesn’t agree with my opinion on how leftism should work”
>>749661No, I said have the
beliefs mapped out, not put it on the silly compass. Like have a list of your total political beliefs. How would you possible notice contradictions if it's flattened into a chart?
You call people retarded, yet you only seem to think a single pass over any given text, incapable of contextualization of earlier text within a paragraph as new words come in. An LLM is a better reader than you.
>>749663How does "whenever I" translate to "frequent" to you.
>>749661 also made that mistake.
I've only ever taken 5 of these my whole life.
I think I'm the only rightwinger here..
>>751771idk seems odd, why are you on this site? I'm
>>751764 and I'm a capitalist but I'm a super woke capitalist at least so there is some plausible reason for me to be here
>>751772I am banned from my preferred websites and video games, sorry.
>>751774why are you banned. did you spam racial slurs
>>751772Well that sounds like you have a dissonance between the base and superstructure parts of your political beliefs. I'd suggest you actually map everything out into a list of political positions you have like
>>749656 said.
>>751777Not really but they were gathering information on me sort of like a social credit system, so, they decided to ban me for 6 months over whatever I was saying which was quite inoffensive. I've just decided I will not be playing that game anymore.
>>751778I've thought about my political views a lot over the decades and have probably written about them tens of thousands of times. I was a bit more left-leaning when I was younger but I've always been pretty pro-capitalism. Otherwise, my socially progressive views have never changed too much. I don't see why there's any contradiction. I firmly believe there is no contradiction between the existence of free enterprise and the highest well-being for the most people, respect for human rights and individual liberty, etc. I am a strong individualist at my core and I believe that often leads one to become a "woke capitalist".
I could certainly always think about them more or read more things, but my position is a pretty common one for a reason. I'm a normie Democrat in the United States. I'm an American liberal. A lot of normie Democrats arrive at their positions through years of careful thought, debate, and education.
>>751784Fair enough, though I wonder what your thoughts are on Max Stirner are.
>>751784And do you believe in any conspiracies
>>751792No, I don't believe any conspiracy theories are true. In fact, I'm actually kind of a meta-conspiracy theorist or meta-contrarian in that I don't even really think almost all of the ones people believe in are actually real (like Operation Northwoods, MKULTRA, Gulf of Tonkin - I'm sort of a "US government did nothing wrong in any of those" person).
I haven't come across a single conspiracy theory that seems to hold any water, besides a few where there was no conspiracy theory beforehand but a conspiracy was suddenly revealed journalistically. Like Watergate - that was an actual conspiracy, albeit not a conspiracy theory.
I'm pretty much the biggest (unpaid) establishment shill you'll ever find on the internet. I'm the kind of guy who still wants to prosecute Snowden (despite very much not being a Republican/conservative/rightist) and would not want to see him pardoned - and not even because of anything to do with Russia.
That said, I'm not a neocon and I generally don't support US intervention in other countries, or most military support of Israel. Though I'm also definitely not a paleocon (or an any-con) and don't believe in isolationism, and I strongly support much more military aid to Ukraine. I'm generally very anti-nationalism and I like globalism and free trade and internationalism and universal humanist values and all that.
In another life maybe I'd be a Democratic party politician or something. Though I'd never actually want to be a politician.
>>751801I wish I could be you and sleep well at night
>>751751Are you in favor of nationalizing big business? It leads to monopoly anyway, so it's pointless.
>>751801Goy
>>749549The political compass is Libertarian Party propaganda.
>>752135>GoyIt's funny you say that, because I'm actually Jewish.
(I am anti-Israel, though, despite being a very pro-establishment liberal Democrat. They behave in ways counter to liberal, humanist values.)
>>752160Do you think Jewish organisations and oligarchs disproportionately influence most western governments?
>>752135I don't desire to empower either corporations or, the government, especially the government on each level.. It needs to be decentralized more and citizenry not associated with either of these, like me, should have more power economic or otherwise over them
It's kind of too late for that tho, the military-industrial complex along with corrupt politicians have already pushed the 2001 Patriot Act and it's been a descent into tyranny.. The citizenry are nothing but playthings for the rich and the elites now, they have no real bargaining power. You could say they have guns but yeah who's going to risk everything to go against the might of the status quo, literally nobody, not even me.
>>752170Irony is, Jefferson and his ilk were aristocrats. They were old money tobacco plantation barons.
They didn't do much of the farming for tobacco. They had slaves do that for them.
>>752168I think all corporate and state industries should have employment draft of civilians working in them for a maximum of five years .
>>752212I like this video, the beginning of it covers a lot of the attitudes and intricacies of the founding fathers:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9o6K0FTVQYGoes into detail on Jefferson, including what you describe.
>>752212Regardless you always answer to somebody, we can't escape this, I would prefer answering to the People rather than anyone else more powerful than me.. but we are wage slaves to corporations and slaves to an encumbering government structure, that is the reality. Not the People, practically, that is a different entity. The People are servants. True freedom comes from having the capital and means of production to oppose those with more of it and I support the People, of which I belong, having more leverage.
>>752215Right I think we need to do more to ensure our rights and liberties, I don't think we do. I don't think anyone cares (so much for the People). We are not keeping this Republic very well, and I'm not really referring to Trump but long-term.
