As a socially progressive neoliberal, here's one of my (many) problems with leftists:
If Mamdani were eligible and somehow the candidate in the 2028 general election (or 2016, or 2020, or 2024, or 2032), almost every single neoliberal would vote for him without blinking. And yet you people are sitting here saying you're not going to vote for someone, no matter how obviously superior they are to Republicans in every way, if they don't check every single ideological checkbox on your list.
Neo-Nazis hate Republicans/conservatives and yet they still get out and vote and advocate for the candidate, because they're not complete idiots. Why are leftists so ineffectual, and, I guess, delusional?
All the leftists on Twitter saying they'll never vote for Gavin Newsom in the general election should experience permanent expulsion and ostracization from any serious political movement.
Everything about your post from the fact that your "problem with leftists" is an exclusively American issue to the fact that your only criterion for a candidate is whether they're a Republican reveals that you confuse allegiance to a political party as it exists in our current age with having beliefs. Being a "neoliberal" would be bad enough, but you're not even that.
>>750225Go back to the gulag, class reductionist.
>>749987Newsom is not even remotely equivalent to Mamdani.
>>749987> And yet you people are sitting here saying you're not going to vote for someone, no matter how obviously superior they are to Republicans in every way, if they don't check every single ideological checkbox on your list.we just say that to impress each other. don't worry. secretly we all vote blue no matter who…
