I would never do it, I grew up in Pittsburgh and at the hospital and zoo I would sometimes see a family of mennonites in their primitive clothes walking around and I thought it looked very embarrassing. But in terms of the Extreme-Amish who live in the depths of Pennsylvania and Ohio I would still never but it seems tempting. You live in a self reliant community of like-minded people who work together without being distracted by materialism. Yeah no internet would suck but at least you would not hear the news. But it would still suck, especially if you disabled, queer, or a women.
