I've pointed this out before, but I have some more indepth thoughts on it now. The pictures of Iranian women used in opposition atrocity propaganda are always of the ones who look like western baddies. They always have tons of fillers (both physical and digital), fake noses, and are scantily clad. Let's just put aside for a minute that these posts like these made on social media can't be verified and ask if these images are even a representation of the majority of Iranian women, because the majority of Iranians are still somewhat conservative Muslims in general. These images are shown to westerners because the opposition knows western men are horny and desperate to turn Iran into a nation of baddies. The discourse for years was always about mandatory hijab, but now that those laws are a dead letter, we see westerners were never concerned about mandatory veiling; the goal was always to destroy the culture in general, and Iranian women have always been seen as the weak link to drive the wedge with. Iranian women are seen as oriental and exotic, but in a way that's considered sexy by westerners. Western men are salivating at the idea of Iranian OnlyFans accounts, and going to Iran to live out an Arabian Nights Epstein Island fantasy.

The bigger picture here is that a state in opposition to imperialism will never be safe from attack. If they neutralize one threat another pops up. Venezuela tried to socialism the liberal democratic way, but that didn't stop the US from kidnapping Maduro. The only way for an opponent of imperialism to be safe is to be like North Korea.
