>>757203That people aren't revolting over Epstein Files seems to me validate Hobbes for me.
This would be the hour to make a moral grand stand and overthrow an unjust regime–I guess Aquinas would have the clutch that if this were done that even then this would harm more children in the long run somehow but even Hobbes would say that.
People don't revolt when it is just–if they aren't revolting now when the elites are breaking the most grievous social taboos like pedophilia, then that speaks for itself.
The only time people revolt is when -their- lives are directly inconvenienced, and they are safe, and they don't want to risk their own lives in revolt, and so long as the comforts and treats and their bellies are full.
People won't revolt so long as innocents far away are killed with bombs and soldiers are employed in national bloodletting to procure more for them–they revolt when it is opportune and discontent foments when it harms them.
So long there is a shadow of doubt–just as eagerly as they'll strive for any sense of hope–they'll play along with this, even if it is most likely so.
People IRL are just ruthlessly careless like Minecraft gamers and go after what is popular and if they can get away with it grief and love trinkets and just don't give a shit.
That is their temperament.
