Imagine a world where the American revolution never happened and everyone in America was British like that Futurama Episode or that Fairly Odd Parents episode? Would the world be better or worse?
It was bad because of the guys who led it. Maybe if they had dismantled slavery right after having it might've been better but it went against most of their material conditions. But chattel slavery was probably never going to last forever anyways.
