the only difference between a chud and a non-chud is a resilient sense of humor, one that isn't always edgy or taking the piss all the time. i notice that lots of chud or chud-adjacent/former chuds (non-racist ones perhaps) etc. tend to like cute things like plushies and anime and the like, and my personal theory is that these types of people have compartmentalized personalities, where one on hand they are an intellectual autist devil that demands rigor, logical, consistency, and "serious discussions", and on the other hand that gets to be quite tiring and they retire to childlike angel wonder and amusement at silly cute things. it's sort of a bpd type of thing, with wildly different variations of mood swings, mental illness, insecurity and fear issues, etc. which is why so many of them hold extreme political beliefs and also tend to take religion or mysticism quite seriously, to the extent that they lose their childlike sense of humor. if this sounds like an insane theory, well that's because im one of them.
