kratom alkaloids bind to opioid receptors in a different way that causes way less respiratory depression and thus less fatal overdoses and most recorded kratom overdoses(7-hydroxymitragynine or leaf powder) involve polydrug use. That being said Kratom as an industry should be much more heavily regulated with Kratom being sold in nationalized stores not dissimilar to the ABC store with leaf powder on the shelves and 7-hydroxymitragynine behind the counter IMHO.

Because of other drugs being laced with fent, also the uncertainty of purity with underground drugs combined with the potency of fent makes it risky.

I have like a giant kilo bag of kratom I never use. Everytime I take it, it's like my experience with every other nootropic or supplement, I'm always like: Am I feeling anything? Really doesn't seem to do jack shit for me. Maybe I should try the 7-OH. I'm not a big opioid guy either, only taken them a few times but I've gotten pretty nice and high off of some hydrocodones I was prescribed once.

Can't even try and do some megadose of kratom because that alkaloid shit starts making you feel sick to your stomach.

If you want the good alkaloids, do mescaline.
