Yeah, it's probably pretty legit. If you accept the Bible as canonical, I guess the 2nd most canonical text would be indisputably the Book of Enoch.
The information about "The Watchers" is very important. I feel it could explain a lot of the phenomenon humans experience here in their life on Earth. For instance, what people call "Gangstalking", I feel might be "The Watchers" because when you experience gangstalking you feel like you are experiencing very powerful people watching you constantly until supernatural stuff starts occuring and you realize there is some sort of supernatural elements involved. It is also commonly put forth that ayy lmaos and UFO's could be The Watchers.
Book of Enoch is a great read, especially if you are a Christian.
