it helps put things into perspective that minimum wage workers in developed countries make in a single hour what minimum wage workers in poor countries make in a whole work day. also their 9-to-5 is 9-to-6 or worse everywhere else
What truly redpilled me was comparing the price of things and realizing that besides rent, the price of things tends to be the same or really close, so they really just have a lot of free income compared to me. I really stopped feeling any pity when I saw Americans complaining online about their jobs since then, they work less than me, receive more and spend most of it on luxurious things, then act like they're modern slaves. Not that they shouldn't complain, they should, we should always be demanding more, but how hyperbolic they are leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

America is a treat based economy. Without treats there is no economy.
>>764854>>764814im not one of those "there is no proletariat in the US" t/w morons but its hard to feel bad for people like this. also pointing it out gets you amerilards comparing you to boomers bringing up avocado toast or whatever, like if we were to go with this individualist logic then we should also support failing businesses and shit
