Humanities people keep glazing themselves as "nuanced" and "sensitive" when most of them operate on such nuanced logical registers like "a guy i don't like, like X, therefore liking X is problematic" . Humanities people are the most midwit of all midwits, at least when STEMfags are talking out of their ass they dont pretend to have some deeper connection to the human psyche
That’s because humanities relies on social sciences.
Philosophy and politics which are purely abstractional and eschew any concrete/technical aspects of life
It’s especially sad that academia promotes philosophy as “the generator of critical thinking”, demonizing blue collar skills are irrelevant if not chauvinistic
What’s even more sad is that most humanities majors are unable to find a stable job after graduation.
They’re the ones who are the most likely to end up scraping grease of the griddle or bagging groceries for a living.
Also, humanities tend to be more prone to bias than blue collar folk
