I think its safe to say, that men who are more withdrawn and less obsessed with sex, tend to spend less time chasing partners, and people who spend less time chasing partners will get outcompeted by people who are horny and go out chasing partners. This is why from a purely "i want to find a gf/bf/nbf" perspective, it is better to be horny 24/7 and hit your chances whenever you can, than being slow and steady and risk missing out your chances with someone you like.

It is the same thing with job seeking. It is good to have a materialistic, paper-stacking mindset, because it does correlate with you being more likely to get a job! Lecturing a young person who is saddled with student debt that money is overrated is going to fall on deaf ears. The same thing with sexualizing people: telling young men that they should not be horny and chase after women all the time is very self-harmful from their perspective.

it doesnt rwally help it just turns you into a frustrated person with a lot of resentment towards the opposite gender
see: this board

Being chill about it is why I have a wife and an open marriage. My example is anecdotal, but it does directly contradict your hypothesis.

You're pushing the exact mindset, that lead to a "dating market" in the first place and creates an environment where women are creeped out by random men approaching them. Don't be a rapebeast.

>>767323
Let me put this very frankly: which one is more shameful, being a pick up artist or a 30 year old virgin?

>>767317
This is board is the exact example of the problem i am talking about. People who do not have sexual success stew in hatred and resentment. And the type of guys who do not have sexual success tends to be nerds who respect women; fuckboy misogynists exist, but they have completely different view of things than they guy here.

>>767337
To elaborate: as long as you dont actually commit sex crimes or anything which offends societal mores, men are incentivized to be as sleazy as possible, because the alternative is sexual failure (i.e the archetypal 30 year old virgin) which is about the most disgraceful status a man can have. It's like comparing a used car salesman with a homeless person

Its also disgusting how anons here call men 'rapebeast' for the crime of approaching women! How is this not slutshaming but against men?

In fact i'd go as far as saying that liberal overregulation and stigmatizing of male sexuality is slutshaming against men, but that is for another time

>>767341
the absolute state of /siberia/

>>767337
Both should be equal but I think I get what you mean. Males are just expected to be constantly hitting on women or whatever your into so not doing it makes you seem weird to everybody. I don't know if it's biological or societal but it shouldn't be construed as shameful. Neither should the opposite. It's probably about breeding in the end anyways.

>>767351
It's social conditioning, because the point is that this is something observed and evaluated by other men. Role/status validation comes first, but with traditional gender roles, in the same way that women aren't supposed to openly want to be desired, men aren't supposed to admit that they're "self-optimizing" (e.g., deliberately practicing seduction as a skill) for the approval of other men. Being a pickup artist and being a virgin both make you a loser under that logic.

Society is too morally obsessed with sexuality.
There's more scandal in fiction than real life which is absurd

>>767341
It's about regulating male youth unfairly

fucking everything that moves works till the people you're trying to fuck try to kill you

standards are good for a reason

>>767376
How often do they try to kill you?

>>767374
Wait till you learn how female youth are regulated.

>>767383
Tell me. I'm ignorant of such matters.

>>767385
Talk to a woman about it honestly. Their entire bodies are subject to obscene levels of oversight from a very young age. Not to mention that boy's toys are all guns and action figures and girl's toys are all about training them to be good housekeepers or mothers. I'm not saying that boys aren't being fucked up by antiquated social expectations, just that if you paid any attention growing up you'd have noticed that young girls are far more controlled and from an earlier age.

>>767387
i grew up with a girl cousin and she would always get worse punishments than me for misbehaving. even as a kid i could see how unfair that was

>>767387
Girls get more acknowledgment of being victimized by patriarchy
Boys are controlled from a young age as well. Ever notice how whenever boys fail tasks in front of girls, that adults condemn them for not being manly?
Or how about boys are mandated for selective service?
Boys whom are not athletic nor inclined to sports are seen as defective.

>>767396
Usual it’s the other way around. Boys get worse punishment for misbehavior

>>767341
There’s a far bigger problem than slutshaming
It’s Virgin shaming.
Both the left and right do it.

>>767481
>Boys are controlled from a young age as well. Ever notice how whenever boys fail tasks in front of girls, that adults condemn them for not being manly?
I haven't actually.
>Or how about boys are mandated for selective service?
Yeah, that's a big and obvious one.
>Boys whom are not athletic nor inclined to sports are seen as defective.
This is definitely bullshit, boys are given plenty of options besides being strong. You can be smart or creative, even in my generation (I'm older than most of y'all by a fair bit) boys weren't outright expected to be physical. I already agreed in my initial post that old school gender ideas hurt us all at a young age, but young girls are, or at least historically were, given far fewer options on what they were expected to grow in to, which is my main point. They're more tightly controlled. I'm not doing oppression olympics, I'm speaking specifically on how controlled our lives are from an early age.

Sexualizing is just natural, I don't understand at all why people treat it as a bad thing, it's like Christian logic of purity somehow became part of the progressive and/or leftist thinking.

Should I just sexualized everyone in my life? Of legal age of course.

>>767610
Sexualizing real life acquaintances is a no go.
Stick to fiction

>>767609
The problem is people get upset about sexualising fictional characters

what does "sexualizing" even mean? humans are a sexually reproducing species, and sexually dimorphic with obvious secondary sex characteristics. the same person in the same context might activate one person's neurons but not another's. idk how this is anything but an eye of the beholder situation.

>>767649
Imagining everyone is a hole you could stick it in or cock you could suck.

>>767649
I know you're trying to sound like spock but it comes off like Mengele
