Anyone here a regular buyer or seller on ebay?
Thought I'd share some things and ask some questions. Here's what's going on:
I got into wristwatches recently and all the browsing and research that goes into a collection hobby.
I got burned a couple times buying "vintage" before I learned what I need to know to succeed.
Recently came across some scammer in China selling cheap Chinese watches at a huge markup.
So my great idea was to also offer the same watch (which I happened to already own) so I could post a warning to others, with no intention to actually sell my watch.
To prevent someone from just buying it, I set up an auction.
Well, now someone is trying to buy it. Probably the scumbag who I'm trying to shut down. Am I forced to sell it to him? Can I make a fake account and compete and win my own auction to keep this going?
I know ebay will get a cut of the money, and that's me taking a loss. But I don't want to sell the watch for nothing just to get my point across.
I shouldn't have gotten involved I guess. What a mess.
pic related. The watch is $20 new. And that's a good price for it. These scumsuckers are asking $60 and they've sold 14 already!!
They must be stopped.
What do I do now?
I'm probably contractually obligated to sell mine for the top bid of $4.
I'm an idiot, but my heart is in the right place.
>>768568Why did you choose this thread to post your lame video?
Is that you goofing around with your friends? Stupid.
>>768570No that's Nick Rochefort - Sam Hyde's friend. He buys and resells rugs and cars.
