Tennessean here, Chattanooga is easily the city with thmost radicals in the state, at least as far as I've been to. I couldn't really tell you why cause I don't spend much time in those parts, but I know eight communist/anarchist sympathizers that either grew up there or currently live there and they have some small orgs, mostly book clubs that do some ineffective salting.
That makes it kinda weird that it's also my least favorite city in the state, none of the charm of the mountain towns and less to do than Nashville. Safer than Memphis though, but so are some active warzones.

I'm more interested as to why this site is so popular in the central coast of California. I don't think any of the California anons live there. They seem to mostly be from LA.

Keith Godchaux easely. Pigpen was too repetitive and limited aven if i liked the organ (awful vocals also). Brent Mydland was actually great early on, i'm thinking of the Road Trip Oakland 1979 album in particular, and while he revitalized their style for a very short time he still arrived during the downward spiral (Post 1977) of the band's output and right into their fossilized boomericana stadium rock era, pretty bad vocalist like pigpen too.
Then there was Hornsby but i never cared at all for the post-80s Dead as it was just a lazy return to their mid-1970s style but everyone is old, boring and diabetic now.
Keith only sin was bringing his quirk chungus sister on tour so she could do shitty backing vocals.
