Sometimes I think men only exist in order to complete the dialectical movement of women, and they will again vanish in the next 100 years thanks to technological advancement. I don't really believe this, but sometimes I think men are a historically disposeable group, existing only as a 'solid rocket booster' for history. Once we get to orbit, they can be jetisoned.
I think men are the real objectified gender or at least objectified more than women. Men are just seen as utilitarian machines who are only good if they have big dicks or fat wallets and if you don't you go to the mines. Women seem to be implied to have some sort of essence that supersedes everything else and makes men desperate for them. Maybe the objectification is different as men are seen as tools while women are seen as prizes.
