>>11441>All of these are real False
>and you can go to school for them True, doesn't mean all of them are legitimate or useful.
>>11446False
All of them are real.
They exist.
>>11450Not OP but Psychology is 90% bullshit because psychologists don't know shit about human brains and just predict things based on patterns and their own human presumptions. I know because I've had 3 different psychologists, all "experts" of their field give me 3 wildly different diagnoses.
Sociology is also rife with insertion of personal politics rather than an objective, impartial analysis, so most 'advanced' sociology literature and so on is often massively skewed in favor of whatever politics the author holds.
>>11456I got you to admit it exists.
That’s all I care about.
What you think quacks I don’t really feel obliged to discuss.

>>11499People with good intentions aren't necessarily more intelligent than people with bad intentions.
Do you understand?
>>11468>Yeah, that’s psychology. No LOL, it really isn't. Psychology postulates and does the correlation/causation fallacy.
>>11470 The Big Bang is a theory, and one that I don't know is correct or not. However the Big Bang is based on measurements of how celestial bodies and space expands, the WHY is the subject of research to this day, but it IS being researched and studied, which is why it is a THEORY.
>>11482 Yes. Biology, Chemistry and non-theoretical physics. For example, Plants are green because of chloroplasts, which help them photosynthesize and so provide energy to the plant through sunlight, H2O and Carbon Dioxide. We know why photosynthesis happens; the chemical reaction of the plant cell's organelles using chemical processes to form primitive sugars with an Oxygen byproduct and sunlight (electrons) to provide the energy for this to occur. The formation of the molecules and chemical reactions between H2O and CO2 are a result of the properties of the different atomic elements that make them up - Hydrogen, Oxygen and Carbon. We know the electron counts they have under normal circumstances, the proton and neutron count, and so on and so forth. We know why these different sub-atomic parts form like they do, though this is still being fully researched.
I'm just being EXTREMELY simplistic about this because to properly explain every chemical reaction and he transition from Biology to Chemistry to Physics would quite literally be enough to fill a book. My point is that while not every aspect of chemistry, physics and biology is known, there is knowledge we have proven beyond reasonable doubt and we know WHY it is so. With psychology you don't have this because human brain chemistry is not consistent and even that is more the purview of Neurology (biology) rather than the metaphysics of psychology. While there are generalities of afflictions and mental issues, every person is different, and these differences can range from miniscule, to enormous. Hell take a look at the psychology of a single sex - men. High testosterone, increased physical body mass etc. Which lends itself to physically aggressive tendencies, yet there are men who are utter gentle giants and men that are violent beyond all logic. The human mind is a fucking abyss and is beyond JUST chemical reactions of the body. If a man can reign in their instinct to maim someone they hate or stop themselves from saying something they'd regret, then clearly there are things at play we don't know anything about. We have emotions that can never be described using chemical reactions. We have feelings that cannot be plotted using a mathematical expression and psychology/psychiatry/etc. tends to ignore this.
>>11515>chemical reactions are absurd???
>intrinsic valueNonsense. Supposes a non-relational relational.
>chemicals in your brain tell you they are chemicalsYes. Based chemicals. No contradiction.

There is only spectacle in the modern world, so the only thing that matters is aesthetics and propaganda.
